Renovated apartment a stone's throw from the center of Assisi-up to 6 people

This apartment was wonderful. There was plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 2 boys. It was very clean, bright and airy. There is a nice kitchen set up. The bedroom area can be closed off from the living room area. It has a small porch with a wonderful view. It is conveniently located very close to a grocery store. We arrived with 2 cars and there are 2 free parking spaces right at the front door of the apartment. Angela was a welcoming host with plenty of tips and suggestions for getting the most out of our short stay in charming Assisi. We would return to this apartment again and again.

This property was perfect for our stay in Assisi. We loved the family who hosts this property! They were friendly, greeted us upon arrival, responsive, and assisted us during our stay. The apartment was clean and renovated with style. I enjoyed the peaceful patio and the location was walkable to all the sites.

We used the Flat as three friends for five days and everything was perfect. Angela is such a nice host and shared a lot of ideas where to go, where to eat … Walking downtown is only 10 min and the way up to Monte Subasio is only 5 min away. Thank you, Angela, for a wonderful time. Gabi and Friends

We made our first visit to Umbria in May 2022, and we are pleased that we could return so soon in life. Assisi is wonderful, and with no major festivities in February we found ourselves in the normal rhythm of the city. We are deeply grateful that we could stay again at this great apartment. As our prior review states, the family lives nearby and the service is flat-out excellent. Still. The apartment feels really large, particularly with all of the sunshine in the kitchen and living areas. As in 2022, the apartment still is spotless: clean tiles in both bathrooms, excellent lighting, comfortable furniture. On this visit in 2023, we rested and enjoyed our mornings relaxing inside in the living room. We love the fabulous terrace. The location is just a short distance from all that we wish to see in Assisi. Plus, right around the corner is a classic Italian bar and a full-service grocery store. In two shopping trips, we easily found all of our foods for breakfast, as well as dinner for one evening. (The grocery store also offers an excellent variety of prepared foods, but the customer needs to arrive early to have a good opportunity for all of the offerings.) We have stayed in several VRBO properties over the past year, and we do not hesitate to state that the pro service at this apartment in Assisi is peerless. We have big smiles for the kindness shared with us. Grazie mille.

The apartment was perfect! It is about a 10 minute walk into the main square in Assisi. The apartment was very comfortable for two couples. The kitchen has everything that you need. The host, Angela is terrific. She was so helpful with restaurant suggestions and things to do and see in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Angela is a wonderful host. She has provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in Assisi and surrounding towns. The apartment is very comfortable and modern and is a very short walk from the historic town of Assisi.

Assisi is an extraordinary city in a region that is full of wonderful places and kind people. We made our first visit to Umbria in May 2022, and we hope that life’s opportunities allow us to return to Assisi. When we do, we hope to stay again at this great apartment. The family lives nearby and the service is flat-out excellent. The apartment is just as described: Brand new--with clean tiles in both bathrooms, excellent lighting, comfortable furniture, a fabulous terrace, and fast and steady WiFi. The apartment’s location suits us, but is a bit tricky to find because its street is one branch of a larger street. Still, the location is good: a short walk to one of the ancient eastern gates of Assisi and, by walking at a leisurely pace, we need less than 30 minutes to arrive in the center of the city. The streets of Assisi go up and down, and wind their ways towards lovely piazze. We were comfortable walking each day back and forth from the apartment, and the city feels safe, but to save time from a day’s travel (say, after returning from Gubbio) we prefer to park and step up quickly in the heart of the city. (We use il Parcheggio Porta Mojano, one of several good garages.) The location is just a short distance from Eremo delle Carceri, and along that road is a fabulous osteria with great foods and wines, as well as a commanding view of the valley. The apartment is so comfortable that, if we are fortunate to return to Assisi, we plan to enjoy at least half of the day (morning or early evening) relaxing inside or on the terrace. Just a few minutes away is a classic Italian bar and a full-service grocery store, and thus a simple way to find foods for the day’s lunch or dinner and meeting a few people of Assisi. Deeply grateful for the pro service and, above all, the kindness.
