A good place with a nice and kind owner!

I stayed 6 nights at Appartmenti Sabta Chiara. The location is very close to the Basilica of St. Clara, and not far from bus station. Giordano, the owner is very nice person who is very helpful and caring. The place is great. I will book this nice apartment again next year. I highly recommend it.

A perfect stay in the heart of Assisi with a wonderful host who made everything effortless.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment! The location is perfect — so central that we could easily walk to all the beautiful churches and sights in Assisi. The host was wonderful — always available, friendly, and willing to help. He even picked us up from the airport and kindly drove us to the farther places whenever we needed a taxi. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

Terrible experience

Nothing, the host was very unaccommodating and simply charged us money even tough we did not stay.

We suffered a delay on the road and the host refused to host us and cancelled the reservation, charging the full night as penalty. It is 2025 and there are a lot of solutions out there for the host to offer self-check in. So if you don't arrive on time, say good bye to the money you paid

Perfect short stay in Assisi in Santa Chiara

This was a perfectly located B&B right by the Santa Chiara Piazza. Giordano was very accommodating, as he had no guests staying the day of our departure he let us use the room until midday when we had to head off to the airport. Another lovely place with a terrace for lounging during the heat of the day, there were two air-con units so the apartment was perfect during the hot nights. Just up the steps is a lovely local restaurant with friendly staff and good priced menu.

Excellent location with great terrace, washer and fantastic host !

We had an AMAZING stay! In addition to its excellent and convenient location, the apartment is bright, comfortable, and features a lovely terrace—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, breakfast, or an evening drink. One of the biggest perks for us as tourists was the washer—super convenient! Giordano is a wonderful host. He greeted us with a bottle of champagne in the fridge and made sure all amenities were readily available. He also provided tips for visiting Assisi. We truly felt welcomed and at home. We will definitely be coming back to this place.

Simply amazing!

The location is exceptional located in the piazza overlooking the Basilica Di Santa Chiara. It is 4 minutes walk away from Santa Maria Maggiore where Carlo Acutis is based. Our 2 bedroom apartment had a stunning view. The owner was so efficient and helped in every request and question. Could not be better. Will highly recommend it!

If travelling with elderly people, there is no lift and there were 3 flights of steps to climb.

Great apartment with great views

1. Just in front of Santa Chiara Basilica. Had panoramic view of valley below. 2. Windows look out into the Piazza Santa Chiara. 3. We cooked our own breakfast and the TIGRE supermarket was just 10mins walk from the apartment to buy fresh supplies. This was a great plus for us. 4. Assisi is a hilly place with numerous and well connected lanes and narrow roads. This makes it very interesting and adventurous to explore and walk about.

Our 2 Bedroom apartment was located on the 3rd floor. As we were seniors, we had to ask Giordano to help us carry the suitcases upstairs. This apartment is about 1km away from Basilica Santa Francesco. The walk is uphill and challenging for seniors with health issues. Alternative is to go there by taxi.

A comfortable place in the heart of one of the most historic and beautiful medieval towns in Italy.

Fantastic Location - literally just a few steps away from Piazza di Santa Chiara - an amazing privilege to stay here. The terrace had a beautiful View of the Rocca Maggiore that glowed at night. The Host was very very helpful and a nice person.

The weather outside was cold and rainy but the apartment was warm and dry.

Nice location, spacious apartment

The apartment is very well situated - next to the Basilica di Santa Chiara. Apartment was spacious, with AC. I also used washing machine, which was very useful. I also got some food for breakfast (jams, biscuits, tea and coffee). Hosts were very kind.

There could be more dishes in the kitchen (pan, bowls, larger cups). Sometimes there was a noise from the street, but that's to be expected when you live in the city center. I would add protection (net) against insect to the windows. Sometimes (but every day) wifi was quite weak.

Comfortable stay, lovely location, great host

A lovely small, sunshiny apartment in a great location with new furniture, a well-equipped kitchen, and a huge terrace with views in all directions, as well as a good Umbrian restaurant a few steps up the walkway. I was there nine days and it had everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including a washing machine and empty closets and drawers. I especially loved its location a few steps away from the piazza of Santa Chiara, where you can have a gelato while watching the sun set over the valley. It’s also one of the best locations in Assisi if you are not fond of walking up and down steep hills. Another big plus is Giordano, the delightful host who cheerfully and efficiently arranges everything from inexpensive transport from the train station to luggage storage, as well as providing tips on local things to see and do. He really cares about his guests and is a great resource and problem-solver. I would definitely stay here again and advise my friends to do so as well.

The terrace was bare-bones because it lacked much greenery, but Giordano says roses and other plants have been delayed by supply problems and should arrive soon.

Home away from home

The super clean apartment is managed by an excellent host. So very helpful right from the start helping with luggage and getting settled. The location is directly across from Santa Chiara, Saint Clare Basilica. So location is extremely good, right on the main street leading from Santa Chiara to San Francesco Basilica. Restaurants, coffee bars, shops, scenic overlooks are all nearby. Apartment has a lovely terrace to sit and relax, view of Rocco Maggiore, and it is well equipped, including a washing machine. Perfect for a short or long stay. Highly recommend apartment and host.

Vicinissima al centro storico, facile da raggiungere e soprattutto in un luogo strategico per essere vicino a tutto. Il letto era molto comodo e pulito così come tutta la casa. Appartamento piccolo ma perfetto per due persone. Signor Giordano disponibile, gentile e molto professionale.

Avrei preferito una tv un po’ più grande e con un segnale tv migliore, oppure una tv in camera. Sarebbe carino avere anche qualche bottiglietta d’acqua nel frigo all’arrivo e forse meglio una macchinetta del caffè con cialde invece della moka. Sostituirei le lampadine per avere una maggiore luce in alcune stanze e aggiungerei delle ciabatte per caricare i telefoni vicino al letto

Un fine settimana ad Assisi

Con la mia famiglia siamo andati ad Assisi per respirare l'aria Natalizia in occasione dei mercatini di Natale. Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti Giordano, host molto gentile e disponibile, abbiamo apprezzato molto i suoi consigli. La struttura è in una posizione eccellente per visitare Assisi con vista sulla piazza di Santa Chiara. L'appartamento è dotato di tutto il necessario come da descrizione. Il parcheggio suggerito è molto vicino e comodo. Torneremo sicuramente, grazie!

La atención brindada por el anfitrión fue excelente. La ubicación del departamento es muy buena. Y en general, el alojamiento es muy bonito.

Cudowna lokalizacja na przeciwko kościoła św Klary, w starym mieście. Duży apartament, wspaniała łazienka, ogrzewanie, bardzo czysto, widok z okna niesamowity.

bardzo niewygodne łóżka, źle się spało, miło by było gdyby na turystów czekało kilka torebek herbaty i cukru- niestety kuchnia była pusta- nie licząc dwóch paczek sucharków. Mieszkanie bardzo wysoko bez windy.
