Culture, tradition, relaxation a stone's throw from the sea.
The apartment is located in the center of Vernazza in a building dating back to 1639, located in the oldest part of the country, the interiors have recently been renovated maintaining the original stone features. My accommodation is a studio apartment close to family activities, restaurants, town center and public transport. You will like my accommodation for these reasons: the location, the atmosphere and the neighborhood. My accommodation is suitable for couples, lone adventurers, business travelers, families (with children) and furry friends (pets), equipped with free internet wi-fi and air conditioning. The apartment consists of a large living room with kitchen, table, sofa bed, a cot for children, reading area, the sleeping area with double bed, private bathroom and walk-in closet.
The apartment is just a 3-minute walk from the train station and the marina where you can get ferries for sea travel. Vernazza is located in the heart of the Cinque Terre, a stone's throw from La Spezia, Portofino, Genoa

This location was perfect for us. Fairly easy 5 min walk from train station. About 8 steps in total. Very manageable. It is a large studio apt. Very comfortable and well equipped. Appreciated touches such as jam, coffee, toast, biscotti. Communicated with host on whatsapp. Only one small high window but air cond / heater worked well. There is a slight smell from drain but the building is 100's of years old. The vent in the bathroom handled it. Greatly appreciated the late checkout. Highly recommend as a base for exploring area.

Sweet small apartment in Vernazza close to the water. Huge plus: ground floor ( many of these apartments are up multiple flights of steep stairs!) and although there was a short flight to the “ground” floor it was certainly doable. The kitchen was nicely stocked with coffee and tea and a few biscuits. On the down side, we were unable to access the apartment due to a faulty keypad that the landlady apparently knew about but did not inform us of and we underwent quite a struggle trying to get in before calling her to find out she knew it was not working! Additionally the two of us there for four nights were provided with only one towel each which never fully dried out between use due to the humidity near the sea. You should know that there is no window in this unit so no views or fresh air although there was nicely working A/C which we did not need to use often due to the natural coolness of the unit.

Location of this apparment is outsanding. In a small alley parallel to the main road and ony 50 meters from the port! The appartment is basically one big room with a separate bathroom. The is bed separetaed from the room with a room devider. It however has all you need, the only thing is that is is quite dark with only possibilities for light and fresh air through the window in the front door. For our purpose, staying 2 nights in the middle of the cinque terre it was perfect thought.

The apartment was conveniently located near the harbor, but it was so quiet. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was wonderful and so gracious when I made TWO big blunders. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Grazie Mille!!!

The place was good. It was dirty with spiderwebs and dust in some spots but other than that it was great. It still did have a musky smell like others reviews. The refrigerator was also dirty but we didn’t use it, just something to note.

The location is great! Easy access to the water, shops and restaurants - no less than 1-2 minutes. The place was clean. We had 4 people in our party. It’s small for 4 people and the pullout sofa is not the best night rest. As we were gone most of the days the place was fine for our needs. However, as the home is built on rock, and not on higher elevation, the room was musty. Our cloths, towels and bedsheets were alway damp. We loved Vernazza

This apartment was a great base for our trip to Cinque Terre. It is easy to get to from the train station and probably 50 yards from restaurants, bars, and the beach. It is on the second row of houses so protected from the noise of the main street. A couple things: - The listing says 1 BR, but really is a loft apartment. The queen bed is part of the main space and is only seperated by a shelving unit. - The complaints in other reviews about the water heater are true. We could only squeeze out maybe 5 minutes of hot water, which was difficult for a family of 4.

Such a perfect place to stay in Cinque Terra! The place was close (not a million stairs, thank goodness!) to everything but just often the beaten path enough for quiet. The apartment was very cool with exposed walls but still modern with all amenities and fast wifi. Definite recommend!

Before I go into the review about this particular stay, I wanted to just mention that we stayed our first two nights at an incredible place in Riomaggiore that met all of our needs, so we were expecting the same here. Perhaps the bar was too high from that place. Anyhow, I’ll start with the positives: Pros - + interesting location, set directly into the mountainside. + very close to the main shop area of Vernazza, and to the beach! + you are able to store luggage here early if you’re coming from elsewhere in the Cinque Terre, which was really nice since we had to take an early train. Cons - - Buy beach towels from the shops nearby. Do not rent them from the proprietors of this place. They charge you more to rent them and ask for them back than if you just buy them from 100 feet away. - Mildew smell. Noted in other reviews. Pretty sure I developed a short cold from smelling the mold or whatever it was all night. We tried using the air conditioner to get the smell to go but then you have to deal with even colder temperatures when it’s already cool inside this place. Maybe it’s different in other seasons, but we were here in June and the smell of mildew was incredibly strong. - general dampness of the place. The first thing I did when we officially checked in after 3 pm was plop down on the sofa. It felt damp. The walls were a little damp the whole time too. It’s basically inside a cave, so shouldn’t be too surprising I guess? Stayed two nights, tried to like it.

This apartment is just a few steps away from the main city street, which provides great access to all the shops an restaurants. Unlike many of the other places in Vernazza, you do not have a lot of steps to get to it. The apartment has all the amenities you would need for an extended stay. We were there when it was raining, and the apartment was very musty. The furnace/water heater located in bath room was quite loud, and made sleeping a bit of a challenge. Also, be sure you take short showers. Even with just two of us, the hot water ran out frequently. We never had direct communication with the owner. It appears that this flat is owned or managed by some kind of agency, so all communication was via email. I would have preferred to have direct communication with an individual. Finally, they surprise you with a cleaning fee (which was not listed on VRBO) even though they make you take your own trash to the bins by the rail station. It might be a better location in dry warm weather, but unfortunately the very strong musty smell made it less than enjoyable. We would not return.

Vernazza is a cliff city so it's no surprise this apartment is up several steps. It is clean an well stocked. Located close to the beach, shopping, and dining it is convenient for getting to everything.

This is a nice place - clean and user friendly - but it also has several drawbacks. First - no windows in a place where the views are fabulous. Second, the AC system is loud, and some sort of plumbing cycle runs constantly all night and is also loud. And as others have said, a couple of beach towels would be a welcomed addition.

It was so nice to be able to buy fresh food at the market in Monterosso and cook our own dinner! The location of this apartment made it easy to walk to dinner, breakfast, and to walk down to the water and watch the sun set or jump in for a quick dip. We would stay again!

First time to cinque terre and had no idea what to expect but this was fantastic. It was close to everything. Only a few steps to carry luggage up. I highly recommend this location. Place smelled a bit musty but wasn’t off putting. Would have been nice for there to be beach towels in a beach town. Had to go and buy some and try and figure out how to fit them in our luggage to go home. Overall great stay. Would come back!

This property is incredibly central and steps from the beach. Vernazza has become very busy during the day, but after the day trippers leave, it is very pleasant. Late night swims in the ocean and steps back to your room is incredible. Two teens on a pull out a d two adults on a queen bed worked perfectly.

Great location! Steps away from the harbor & piazza and a few minutes' walk to the train station. While I couldn't figure out how to work the TV to watch King Charles' Coronation, the Wi-Fi was excellent and I was able to stream BBC on my tablet. Lorenza responded quickly to the few questions I had. Overall, a great experience - grazie mille!
