Tout était bien

The space was roomy, and well equipped, Francesca met me at her wine shop and too me to the apt, her son assisted with my bags which was sho helpful. She checked in to see that all was well during my stay and gave some highlights of the town on arrival

The place was great, the stairs are a lot after so much hiking but they are also part of the experience and charm, to be expected. I didn't personally like the foam pillows, just not what I am used to.

The location is perfect just off of the busy market street but far enough that it was quiet

The unit was very small for what we paid but that may be usual. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable. There was a manual coffee maker that we were unfamiliar with how to use and even if we did there was no coffee, no microwave and very limited hot water which was a constant problem with four adults. All of our previous stays had water, coffee or something that made us truly feel like guest. This felt like a spartan retail unit. They also came into our unit while we were out with no indication. They brought fresh towels and toilet paper which we didn’t need and removed the trash which was minimal. It seemed more like an apartment check than a courtesy. It felt very intrusive and just plain creepy.
