Central Vernazza but somewhat meager

Good spot, we loved Vernazza.

Cold, hard to heat, unheated upon entry and slow to warm up(January!) Painfully hard pillows to sleep on and this prevented sleep. Hard to find and enter.

Beds were not very comfortable, the ac didn’t work very well so hot so didn’t get much sleep, there were no soap available in the bathroom.

Of all the properties this had to be one of the best. Centrally located with shops, restaurants and the bay.

The location was amazing. The balcony gives a great view of Vernazza. One evening I sat and listened to a mini concert performed by a gentleman with a great operatic voice.

If anything, I’d have to say the stairs. It was clearly advertised that property is located on the top floor of a steep building, but the first time up was quite a shock. However, with all the trips up and down, I felt I got some exercise and was getting good at the climb.

Not good value for money.

Central location on the village’s main street.

We were expecting a balcony because of the pictures, but our 3p room didn’t have a balcony. It was very tight for 3 people. Only 2 chairs at the table. The AC didn’t work and because of the noise of the main street the windows couldn’t be opened, so it got very stuffy and hot.

Simple room, but everything we needed. Great location for Vernazza and the train.

For most people this won’t matter, but if you have heavy suitcases and are a senior the stairs can be a challenge. Please know the owner will do everything she can to help you if you don’t have to leave at unusual times.

Perfect location

Comfy bed, great shower, refrigerator and coffee maker, A/C works really well. The location is on the main street, 2 minutes to the water.

On booking.com, it said there was a stove top, there was not. 47 stairs to the apartment, some of which were steep. Pretty common for this area of Italy but a lower floor would have been better for us.

Beautiful stay in the heart of Vernazza

We stayed in the Seabreeze 'double room with terrace' and it was beautiful. We enjoyed many nights with wine on the terrace and the AC was a welcome relief on some hot humid days. The room itself was well equipped with a smart TV, wifi, glasses for wine/water/coffee as well as a coffee maker. The host was very responsive and helpful, he met us right when we arrived so we could get in immediately. It's located right on the main street of Vernazza, which is busy during the day but much less so at night. A 3 minute walk from the train and a couple minutes from the port, a perfect location.

The only negative would be the stairs if you had mobility issues. It is up a few flights of stairs, which was fine for us, but could be an issue depending. Also the terrace is only for the double room, I don't believe the triple has a terrace.

Good Stay

The apartment is just in the middle of the main street. Very convenient.

There are a lot of stairs and narrow stairways. So need to bring a small luggage bag.

Great choice for Vernazza

Great location, beautiful apartment, and an amazing view. However, there’s a very strong and persistent smell coming from the fish & chips takeaway downstairs. Unfortunately, it’s so intense that it’s not possible to enjoy the balcony or even keep the windows open from around 10 AM until late at night.

Good location and large terrace!

Great location above the Main Street. Sizeable terrace.

The room is very small, not much room to move around. Lots of stairs to get to the room, which is difficult when you’ve got a bag to carry. Neighbours were very loud, you can hear everything from the hallway. Vernazza is tiny, so probably best to stay in a neighbouring Cinque Terre town and get the train to Vernazza for a short day trip. Not much to do here.

Basic accommodation, 5th floor walk up, no balcony

Host was nice. Location is convenient in center of town.

5th floor walk up, hot, stuffy staircase. Room is BASIC, no frills. Shower tiny, only hand soap provided, no shampoo. It’s a queen bed and a cot - not a normal second bed.

The location was great for two people and the locations was superb. Highly recommend.

The host was in contact with us prior to our arrival. The apartment is literally a three minute walk from the train and found it without issue with the hosts directions. The host met us immediately and showed us through the apartment.

There really was not much I would suggest. These items are very, very small and this is by no means me being nitpicky on the apartment. I would put in larger towel hooks simply because our towels kept falling to the ground. It would to be nice to have more than handsoap in the apartment and other types of hotel amenities. A suggested list of places or things to do from a local's perspective would've been nice.

The apartment, though small, was well equipped and pleasantly decorated, with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom and useful mini kitchen. The balcony high up above the street was delightful, well worth all the stairs to get there. We were frustrated when we couldn't find the door to the property - you need to know that it is Number 11 and is not marked with the name SeaBreeze. Make sure you have a mobile signal so you can contact Doriano and get him to come down to the door. We were so glad that he finally found us, with the help of a friendly local, and we enjoyed our Cinque Terre experience.
