Sweet place to stay in Vernazza

Apartment is in a great location in Vernazza, literally 2 minute walk from the train station. The beds were extremely comfortable in both rooms. There were added touches like a hair dryer, snacks/breakfast croissants. Everything you need in the kitchen to get by and make a meal. Internet is fast, so if you are a digital nomad this is a great thing. You get a great view of Vernazza from above (the kitchen and the balcony) Host is extremly responsive and got back to us when we needed him. They actually had to replace the lock on the door due to a catch, and that was prompt and done while we were out hiking. The woman who checked us in was wonderful and while we couldn't speak spanish she was so accomodating and understanding!!

The stairs to the apartment. WOOOOAH, if you have mobility issues this might be a problem (all of us were ablebodied) but this is what you have to expect in older buildings! Just be warned, thats the only issue we had (something that reallly can't be changed)

Lovely bright apartment with attentive host. GREAT location close to train station and town/beach yet very quiet and secure. Comfortable beds and nice hot water. Good city views and atmospheric views from all windows lovely to see. Lovely terrace where you can enjoy cooler evening air and hear church bells and the town. Yes some stairs although clean stairway and stairs in good condition so not a problem. Had many kitchen and bathroom accoutrements.

We are from North America and have travelled extensively all over Europe. Never ever have we encountered this type of door lock system. Thank god we knew to ask the nice lady kindly who met us at train to show us how to unlock the door which involved a three bolt deadlock to turn one way and another lock to turn the opposite way with just one key and ‘push’ and then jiggle the lock a certain way (stressed) ‘at the same time’. The lock was VERY difficult to use and required repeated attempts each time to unlock. Luckily we managed to get in somehow at the end of every day without having to contact host and say we couldn’t manage to unlock. Have asked several Europeans and fellow traveller friends about this afterward — if this is typical for Europe and received the answer that there are ‘secure’ lock systems out there however this degree of difficulty of the lock mechanism and opening is not normal or typical. Door should be able to open functionally with a key without struggling with mechanism for five to ten full minutes. Myself I attempted every day to open this lock and never managed. Had a been a solo traveller I’d be stuck in the hallway for my stay or continually having to seek help from host or someone. Other adults in our party took several minutes of attempts each time we returned to apartment. They were not able to open each time themselves either — once one managed another time they could not unlock and next person had to try their luck. Truly when it finally unlocked it felt like sheer ‘luck’ each time. It made the stay slightly stressful to know if we would get back in each time we left and returned. Perhaps invest in a two key system or keyless computer door lock entry. This could also be a faulty lock that needs to be replaced? As well to charge phones two outlets in the apartment seem to be popping out of the wall and when plugs removed they jiggle precariously so we were avoiding using those. Needs some maintenance on that.

Great location in Vernazza

Great location Nice size apartment with 2 bedrooms The host was always available to answer questions.

The curtains are really thin, so the light comes in and wakes you in the am and at night I could see the light through the window of the apartment that is directly across Please invest in some darker, thick curtains.

A lovely break in a pretty town

Lovely apartment that captures the heart of Cinque Terre.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is in a great location. The bed was very comfortable. There was water in the fridge and snacks. Vernazza is an amazing town. Highly recommend staying here.

Vernazza's hidden gem...stay here

It truly is a magical home to stay in. The views of the rooftops are so plesant. The beds were very comfortable and we were so surprised and thankful for the snacks and drinks that were in the apartment when we arrived. There is no aircon which is typical for the area but they provide 3 fans which were a lifesaver since it was warm in the begginging of Sep. The location is perfect. Close to the train station and close to the piazza on the other side. There are two bedrooms that share a hallway bathroom that is very large. One of the bedrooms is on the main level and the other is up a set of small steps along with the kitchen. The couch pulls out to a bed and is pretty comfortable as well. There is a balcony with a table and chair you can enjoy the breeze. There are plenty of places to dry your clothes on lines after you wash them.

The stairs were very steep going up to the apartment but there is only about 25 steps. Franco was a hero to.help us with getting my parents up to the apartment.

Amazing place, amazing host, annoying Neighbor.

The apartment is great and so is location, everything very clean and also the hostess put a lot of effort into making us feel welcomed, leaving some fruits, wine and breakfast things.

The upstairs Neighbor is extremely annoying and may even throw water at the guests, even if it’s 2 people talking in the balcony during the afternoon (while there’s no silence law in place, like 18h) - the balcony has an amazing view but with such person upstairs it gets really difficult to enjoy it.

Absolutely wonderful

The apartment is in such a perfect location and we were easily supported with check-in and check-out! The hosts were so lovely and provided us lots of helpful information regarding our stay! We also loved the balcony and views from the kitchen.

The only thing we would wish for was an extra fan! It makes the hot nights a little more bearable, especially if there are more than two people staying!

Un departamento con todo lo necesario muy amplio con dos habitaciones sin TV pero para pasar unos días excepcionalIsabella amorosa me vino a buscar a la estación para ayudarme a subir. No apto para personas que no puedan subir escaleras empinadas. Todo lo demás muy bueno

Perfekt läge på lägenhet i mysig stad.

Rymlig och fräsch lägenhet nära stationen. Förekommande personal som kom och mötte vid stationen (även om vi fick vänta onödigt länge ). Terrass tillhör boendet, väldigt liten men ändå bra att sitta på.

Dörrlåset fungerade extremt dåligt. Vi fick lägga ner nästan 10 minuter varje gång vi kom hem för att kunna öppna. Inget kunde åtgärdas för detta under våra fem dagar trots att vi bad om det.

Nice place to have as a base to enjoy the town!

Location was handy right near the train station but was still quiet. Easy to get to places. Nice to have a little spot to sit outside. Appreciate the hosts responsiveness to texts.

Washing machine was not working well. Seems the outlet/plug connection was a problem. We got it to finish a load by holding the plug into the outlet. Host plans to fix it.

Sehr saubere Wohnung mit Terrasse - perfekt für Paare und kleine Familien

Die Lage ist genial. Versteckt in den engen Gassen der Altstadt und trotzdem weniger als eine Minute Fussweg vom Bahnhof und der Ladengasse entfernt. Die Wohnung ist geräumig mit zwei Schlafzimmern, einer Küche, einem grossen Badezimmer, einem kleinen Wohnzimmer und einer Terasse mit Tisch und Stühlen. Von der Terrasse kann man der Geräuschekulisse von Vernazza lauschen und einen Aperitiv einnehmen, bevor man sich abends noch in eines der fantastischen Restaurants begibt.

Nichts. Alles war super.

Akkurat hva vi trengte i Vernazza

Fin og praktisk leilighet midt i Vernazza. Perfekt for oss som var 2 par. Vi fikk meget imøtekommende og kjempehyggelig velkomst og hjelp av Franco.

Litt mange trapper, men slik er Vernazza. Litt lytt til leiligheten i etasjen over der folk var meget tidlig oppe.

部屋数が多く家族が適度な距離感で休めたキッチンにはツールが沢山あって、ベランダなどに物干しスペースもあって、暮らすのに便利だった朝食に頂ける食べ物を準備してくれていたヴェルナッツァで暮らす気分を味わえた

残念ながら洗濯機が故障中だった壁側のコンセントがC typeなのにヘアドライヤーのコンセントがおそらくSE typeで挿入出来ず、使えなかった(変換プラグがキッチンのコーヒーメーカーの所で使われていたことに　後になって気付いた)

Il y avait vraiment tout! Fruits, café, thé, eau, confiture… et tout en bonne quantité. Super propre. Grande gentillesse, d’excellent conseil pour le restaurant.
