The location of Mariasole is excellent. It’s right on the path to Corneglia and Monterosso, so very convenient. It’s also just a short walk from the waterfront.

Simple but comfortable and superbly located

The property location was amazing. We were very comfortable during our stay. The hosts were very helpful and let us leave our luggage with them for several hours after we checked out.

The curtains in the bedroom were very thin allowing light in very early in the morning

Lovely stay in the centre of Vernazza

We were welcomed by the friendly host who took us to a comfortable apartment with a separate bedroom and recommended best hikes. It was comfortable, with everything needed for a short stay.

Everything was fine. There is not much light in the flat and there are many steps to get up to it - like in most of Vernazza! The towels could be better - but that's really all I can think of!

Nice area & friendly host

It is in a great location near to hiking paths, train station, beach and town center, the host is very nice - meet us to hand over the keys and provide local information. He allows us early check in and late check out based on our train schedule.

The studio is non-updated with basic supplies.

Perfect for stay in Vernazza, Cinque terre, be aware if coming with big luggage

Perfect for stay in Vernazza, as base to explore Cinque terre. On arrival, welcome by Alex who kindly help with luggage going up the 40 steps to reach the apartment. I stayed on the Gr. floor and seems there is another one on 1st floor. Comfortable bed room, living room/dining room kitchen, clean bathroom, got everything needed.

Nothing really, everything was perfect, would stay here again if i come back to Vernazza or Cinque terre.

Good stay in Vernazza

The host, and his family were always available and accommodating: we had a late check in due to a flight delay and they were waiting for us to personally show us around. Location - super close to the train station, and the centre.

Lovely apartment in excellent location, recommended!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful location at the centre of Vernazza. The apartment was clean and roomy and had a lot of windows. The bed was comfortable. The mini kitchen had space to cook something simple, as well as a large fridge. The shower was nice. In the middle of Italian summer it was on the warm side inside, but the shutters could be closed and there was a working fan. Communication with the host was quick and easy and late check-in was easily arranged. The wifi worked well for the first few days. All in all, we would come back!

We would have appreciated it if a little more information had been provided, for instance practical information on how to work things like the induction cooker and the shutters, but also insider tips on Vernazza and surroundings. Also, the wifi stopped working after a few days and we couldn't get a hold of the hosts to fix it. But that was really all!

We enjoyed our visit and a big thank you to Alex. Village was lovely. We would return.

Alex was a great host and on hand at all times. The property was in an ideal spot to visit the village and not far from the train station. Ths beds were very confortable.

Perhaps we were a little unlucky as the first night we had to suffer loud music from 22h30 to the early morning. It was great to have a couple of fans in the property although aircon would have given us a better sleep. The village was over priced for food and drink and not the best quality.

The host was extremely pleasant and helpful, he even carried our suitcases up the very steep steps. Vernazza is a small village, however, a very beautiful place

If you stay in Cinque Terre, you will have to climb lots of steps; it is unavoidable. With this apartment, there are some steps to climb, but relative to almost every other apartment, you will climb fewer steps staying at this one. Vernazza is a small town, and this apartment is centrally located. Conveniently close to the train station.

Since there is no A/C, you must keep your window open. You will hear one or two loud drunk groups of people passing by late at night; that was the case on each of the three nights I was there, but it didn't impact me too much.

Marisole rooms were a great home base in Cinque Terre for my family. We rented 2 apartments for 2 nights in October, and the location is great: just 2 minutes to walk to the main square in Vernazza and 4 minutes to the train station, and not many steps for Cinque Terre standards. The apartment is also right along the trail from Vernazza to Corniglia. The apartments were clean and the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. Our host was friendly and helpful!

Perfect base to explore Cinque Terre

Conveniently located just a couple minutes from the train station in the heart of town. Restaurants, cafes, mini market and shops all just steps away. Spacious and comfortable. Great base to explore the area. Right on the Senterio Azzurro trail. Easy to access other towns by train or trail (or ferry, which we didn’t do). Good wifi and kitchenette with fridge and stovetop. Easy check in.

Loved everything but be warned sound travels through the passageways so you might hear the nearby restaurant or peoples voices echoing as they pass by, which didn’t bother us. There is no air conditioning, but it was not necessary for us in early October. Also you have to carry your luggage up some steps along the road to the apartment, but it’s not far compared to many places.

A comfortable and well equipped flat.

Well situated near station, port and walking trails. Comfortable bedroom and sitting area. Kitchen well equipped with fridge, cooker and good quality utensils (except surely in Italy a pasta fork is necessary). The landlord was extremely attentive and quick to respond and deal with any issues. This was much appreciated.

The lighting could be upgraded particularly in the living room, given there is a lack of natural light. A clothes horse for drying also seems appropriate in self catering accommodation.

Tiny apartment in the center of Vernazza: great for travelling couples

I liked the fact that the apartment was in the center of Vernazza, from there you could get everywhere in a couple of minutes. I liked the apartment: it was clean, comfortable for 2 people, and it was good value for money. The apartment had every accessory for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The staff was great and always available! I really enjoyed staying in this apartment.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), the apartment is located on the last meters of the path that connects Corniglia and Vernazza. From 10 to 17 there were always tourists talking out loud right beside our windows. It was not really a problem, since basically everyday in those hours we were outside visiting other villages, but a couple of days we had the opportunity to experience this. So just a reminder for people who like extreme quietness.

comfortable cute apartment that’s very convenient as a base for Cinque Terre!

the little apartment was more than enough for a solo traveller with a separate kitchenette/dining room with cooking amenities, and plenty of storage space. i loved the location and the fact that it’s in the middle of the blue trail between Corniglia and Monterosso al Mare. it’s also walking distance from the harbour and Vernazza station. the host also gave some helpful tips for lunch and walking the blue trail.

nothing - the price was a little dear but it seemed to be the case in Cinque Terre in general
