Great place to stay in a great village

Great location and apartment. The bar downstairs didn’t bother us. There are steep stairs up to the apartment but you can take alternative routes up to the castle and then come down a couple of steps to the apartment if you are bothered.

You know in advance that the bathroom is on the other side of the hall so you can’t really complain about that.

Gorgeous spot. vernazza was wonderful and the apartment is great.

Locked bathroom opposite was a little odd. Even just a regular lock on the inside would make it feel better, so you don’t have to take the apartment keys with you every-time you go for the loo or a shower.

Good location. Quiet, clean and well equipped. Confortable. The owners were very attentive.

The only thing I would point out is that room I rented have the bathroom outside, although private. So it was a bit inconvenient moving from the apartment to the bathroom, locking and unlocking.

Well appointed, small apartment in a fantastic location. Away from the noise of the town but steps away from the main square.

A bit of noise from the bar below, but that stopped by midnight. Steep stairs for the most direct route to/from the main square.

A great choice

Smile, apartment is large and comfortable. Would choose this option again. There are many, steep steps up to it.

There is no air conditioner in the apartment, but it didn't matter to us in May.

Great communication in advance made it easy to find. Very nice flat with a large and comfortable bed and lots of wardrobe-space. We didn’t use the middle room as we only were 2, but it could easily fit 2 more adults. The location couldn’t be better.

Didn’t dislike anything, but you do not need an alarm to wake you up at 7 and 7:30 as the church bells do that for you… The private bathroom is only 2 steps outside the hallway, but it would obviously be better to have it inside the room. But it was never any problem.

Perfect place to stay in Vernazza! So close to restaurants and the beach.

Nothing! We thought no air conditioning would be a problem but the apartment was actually a good temperature and the fans were great.

Good location, right off the main square and beach, at the same time very quiet. Nicely decorated and comfortable studio. Hosts super nice and responsive.

No balcony. Steps to get there quite steep, could be an issue for people with mobility issues or having large or heavy luggage

Would recommend, one of the better places to stay in Vernazza

Very clean and spacious room, with small kitchen and fridge. Very close to the centre.

Bathroom is across the hall and a bit small. Also there are quite a few stairs to get to the appartment.

Vernazza is a good location for your Cinque Terre stay.

It was roomy. Lots of Storage space, could sleep 4 persons.

Few amenities, no coffee or tea provided, no microwave, TV. A long, steep staircase up to the property. Had to request clean towels after 4th day.

Primo location near the Castle (basically built into the same hill). Steps from the pier and harbor.

Fantastic location - loved being able to see the cemetery above the village and hear the clock tower bells and waves at night! Reviewers who have complained about steps may not be familiar with Vernazza, where EVERYplace has lots of steps. These (only 63 total from standing on the beach to standing at the front door) were no worse than anywhere else, and much more scenic than interior stairs. Hosts were great with communication: clear instructions, easy code box for access, and great explanations once inside. Apartment was spacious, clean, and perfectly located - we hope to return!

Needs attention

Only the location. Great town for hiking and the apartment was quiet at night.

The bed is terrible, squeezing every time you move an inch. The bathroom is covered in mold between all the tiles. It smelled like mold, but they know about it, which is why there is a sign asking to leave the bathroom fan on after a shower. It seems that cleaning the mold between stays is not a priority though. We had exactly one cutting knife, one kitchen towel (no paper towels either) no microwave, and there is only one burner in the kitchen, so cooking a decent meal proves challenging. Would not recommend unless the location is all that matters to you. FYI, the steps to get here are almost a ladder. That didn't bother us but I could see people with knee problems or heavy luggage having a difficult time staying here.

Location and communication - they sent all the institutions via WhatsApp of how to find a place and check in.

Cleanliness - not clean (trash bins weren’t all emptied, not all towels were changed and the sheets smelled a bit; in general there was a smell in the apartment and hallway). The bathroom is not en-suite (the site doesn’t mention that), so you have to go out of the room. Also, their booking.com site says check in is from 10:00am, we arrived at 12:00 (asked if that’s okay, they said yes), and the apartment wasn’t ready, which wasn’t a problem, but they didn’t fully clean after we left our bags. For the price they charge, this was not a good experience.

Centre of Vernazza with charm

Spacious mini apartment. Great shower, facilities, washing machine was great coz we could wash our towels after the beach ⛱️ Not that the instructions were great on how to get to the place ! Keep in mind that the stairs to take are in piazza marconi!

The steps up the apartment are challenging with a 20 kg suitcase. BUT we got used to them.

Fantastic location and really good value.

The location is excellent, really close to the beach and restaurants. The stairs going up to property are steep so I would advise caution while on them. I would also advise a rucksack/backpack rather than a suitcase for convenience. The property has a fridge and a little induction cooker. It has two really good fans for keeping the rooms cool. Plenty of cups, glasses and cutlery. If you climb the stairs beyond the property and turn left there is a lovely area to sit looking out across the bay and have your breakfast.

There are no doors on the bedrooms which is more important depending on who you are travelling with.

I only wish we could return here soon!

The location was perfect - close to everything but still very peaceful. The apartment was clean, well maintained and well equipped. The size of the apartment for a family of four was decent. We would definitely stay here again.

We realized that the apartment had a shared entrance with another apartment only when house keeping entered the front door on the first morning of our stay. I wouldn't say it was unpleasant, but maybe a bit of a surprise.
