Beautiful View

What a cute little place! The view from the rooms is incredible and the location is ideal. Check-in was seamless, WiFi worked well, and the whole place was clean.

Vernazza is the best location to get into the hiking trainl north and south. It also has the best boat tour. So we loved

The rubbish bin had not been emptied but there were train strikes do it was difficult for the cleaner to get to Vernazza Also the water pump makes a loud noise

Exceeded our expectations

The apartment was amazing and very spacious. There was a separate kitchenette, dining area, day bed/extra bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. There were 4 windows with views of the church and sea which could be seen from each window. Walking out the room and down the stairs you were directly in the piazza and a short 4 minute walk to the train station. We did not hear any noise from trains at all.

Casa Memo is in a great location with beautiful views. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our stay.

The only challenge was the check-in process — it required quite a bit of follow-up and messaging on WhatsApp to get the necessary information.

What a shame - It could have been great!

Location is great. Right on the piazza across from the breakwater. But that is all that is good about this place.

Host provided zero service. Would not answer calls when we arrived as we did not have access codes to enter room. Five unanswered calls from us as well as emails and messages on the booking app yeilded no response. Luckily a local was able to track her down and after 3 hours of trying, we got a response - no apology just the code. In th apartment there are no instructions on how to use anything and we could not get stove to work. The room was cold and we did not have adequate bedding - Thankfully we did find a single bed duvet with no cover. Wi-Fi did not work. Yes there is WI-FI but no internet. Host was not interested in addressing this issue when I contacted her.

Apartment is too hot not to have AC and needs some TLC.

This apartment needs air conditioning. If you travel in the summer, it is too hot without it. You have to open the windows at night to make the place bearable to sleep, but the windows don’t have screens, so the bugs/mosquitoes get in. The apartment has one very weak fan. It needs at least 2, 1 for the living area and third bed and 1 for the bedroom. It’s really not worth staying here without AC. Also, if you want to sleep in past 7, beware that you are right across from the church bells which ring very loudly through the open windows. If you are an early riser, you may find it fun. Apartment needs some basic fixes. The shutters to the bedroom window were broken so we were asked not to open them. Very hard not to open the shutters in the heat. The outlet and light by bed does not work and the shower does not drain. After 1 shower, the basin fills to the brim. The stairs to the apartment are very steep and the entry way was cluttered with trash and construction.

everything. kitchen stove did not work, no way to make coffee or anything, no heat, view blocked by scaffolding, strong cleaner smell, electric sockets loose and dangerous, no response from manager, extremely steep and not specified in advertising. Extra or removed shutters leaning on small landing near top of stairs making entry with suitcases even harder. Fridge not on and ready to use.

A pleasant apartment with a wonderful view.

It was disappointing that a few things weren't left for breakfast as my adult grandchildren staying here needed to come across to us in an apartment on other side for something to eat the next morning. The position was wonderful over looking the little harbour, although they did find the bell chiming every quarter hour quite annoying.

Wonderful, comfortable and enchanting

We loved this nicely kept apartment right in the heart of Vernazza. The view was spectacular and it was fun to be right above the main square with shopping and restaurants just down the stairs. We loved hearing the church bells next to us. Such a nice stay.

The door was difficult to close without making a loud noise in the small stairway. The local neighbors were quite rude about it once and yelled at our sister. We felt like we had to tiptoe up and down the stairs after that encounter.

Best possible stay!

This place is awsome, couldnt imagine a better place to stay while in Vanazza. Super close to everything you could need with amazing views and a huge room/apartment.

We had a heavy bag and the stairs were super steep. Im young so was no issue but if you arent strong and agile you may struggle.

Perfect!

The location was extraordinary and the apartment itself was pristine and beautifully thought out and equipped with everything a visitor needs. If traveling to Vernazza, or Cinque Terre generally, THIS is the place to stay!

Had no dislikes - only a suggestion to add a high-back small table with two stools near the window so guests can enjoy the amazing view, sights, and sounds of the water as they relax in the apartment.
