Nice villa for short stay

Great view and lovely grounds. Breakfast was ok, but no much service .

It’s very old fashioned and the spare bed was uncomfortable . Although they have recently refurbished bathrooms , it looks unfinished and not practical ( lacking shelves / storage ). I think the price is way too high for what you get . Also there was traffic noise from the highway near by which I didn’t expect , considering the location .

Lovely old villa being done up with amazing views

The staff are very friendly. For the price it is amazing. A view over Como. An old villa that they are slowly doing up. I really liked its charm, and despite the other reviews of this place - if it had been done up to the nines it would be a lot more expensive. It’s clean and simple. They give us a heater so that we were not cold. The inclusive breakfast was lovely with the Sun shining into the villa, and able to sit outside. Free parking also.

Not much to complain about, except for the instructions. The road that you turn into to get to the villa has a different villa name which you pass, so it could be a little bit more simple.

Comfortable but chilly

Loved the historic vibe, the potential of the property and the wonderful shower.

Little tricky for taxis to find as no sign at end of track. Renovations not finished in room as sockets loose and no window dressings. Heating not on so felt chilly overnight till blankets were given.

A beautiful authentic Italian villa with many original features. The host is super communicative and is very open to feedback.

There was nothing we didn’t like however k would suggest that a car is needed as the setting is fairly rural.

In short: Misleading advertising, rooms with no wardrobes, bugs, loud music, constant and TERRIBLE traffic noise, subpar

Absolutely do not recommend – misleading, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing experience. Our stay at this B&B in Como was nothing short of a disaster. From the very beginning, we were met with complete disorganization. There was no owner to greet us — the cleaning lady opened the door and immediately asked for the city tax in cash, without giving us any receipt. The next day, the owner tried to charge us again for the same tax…! This is dishonest and completely unacceptable. All the negative comments I read about this place are completely justified after our stay here. The room description on the booking website was false. We booked a “double deluxe” with lake view, but what we actually got was a view of a concrete wall of the neighboring building. No lake, no scenery — just a lie. The photos on the website are clearly intentionally misleading, conveniently avoiding any pictures of the actual window view, even though it’s mentioned in the description. At night, the room was freezing cold despite warm temperatures outside. There were no extra blankets, no way to heat the room. On top of that, there were insects running around inside — if you’re afraid of bugs, this place will be a nightmare. We were also woken up every morning by loud electronic music coming from downstairs — as if someone was throwing a party at 8 a.m. The same music continued during the day when rooms were being cleaned. There is absolutely no respect for guests’ comfort or rest. The surrounding area, contrary to the idyllic, peaceful image shown in the photos, is VERY noisy. The property is located right next to a busy road, and the sound of traffic and speeding cars is constant — even throughout the night. The breakfast? A complete joke. Watery, artificial-tasting coffee and plain toast with cheap jam. No protein or nutrients- that’s it. It’s clear the owners have no intention of providing even basic hospitality — they simply don’t care. There are no restaurants nearby.

Stunning garden

Such a beautiful place and the garden is stunning with lots of quiet corners to relax in.

It would've been good to have breakfast at 7. A sign at the turn off and at the parking would be helpful too.

Good views

The views from the room were amazing. Breakfast was good as well. We were able to leave our car there during the day before check in.

The property is a bit far from town. We did walk into town however there is a bus at the bottom of the hill.

We had the best time!

We had the best time at Villa Adelaide. The villa is more or less still in its original state and is quite rustic - which we loved. Our room was beautiful, and had a gorgeous view of the lake and of the villa’s own gardens. The bathroom in the room was also newly upgraded which was a welcome surprise. If you’re staying at Villa Adelaide you should definitely take a walk around the grounds - the garden is really pretty and there’s a lovely view of the lake at the end of it.

This isn’t really a criticism to the hotel, but more of a warning that you should definitely hire a car if you’re staying here, or be prepared to get taxis to and from the hotel. The hotel isn’t too far from the centre, but it’s not accessible via public transport.

What a view!

Beautiful historic villa, in the process of being renovated. If you stay here, make sure when you walk out from the front door, turn left, walk to the end of the garden and marvel at the spectacular view! 🤩 Which was so underplayed, it wasn’t even mention by our host. (Maybe she doesn’t realise what a great feature she has) Our family hosts were very nice, particularly the father who spoke brilliant English, which was so much easier than relying on my poor Italian. Nice continental breakfast.

The noise from the nearby road was noticeable, but not overly intrusive. We stayed one night and may have felt differently if we were staying several days. It was fine with windows closed, but we prefer to sleep with windows open.

This recently opened B&B breaths new life into a 18-century villa that has been lovingly restored with impeccable taste. From the moment you arrive you’re swept into a world sure ol-world charm meets refined elegance. Each room is a delicate blend of heritage and comfort - think original terracotta floor an espoused wooded beams, and beautiful Italian style garden overlooking lake Como. The owners and the staff have been very supportive and helpful and the happy hour was delicious. Highly recommend! I will be back with my French family in September.

Beautiful villa with easy access from motorway. Breakfast was amazing and I ate outside with a view overlooking Como. Newly renovated rooms with big bathroom and overall excellent value. I really enjoyed the aperitif and relaxing. Great that I could have pizza without having to driving.

Verwaiste Villa

Wir wurden nicht von der Gastgeberin in Empfang genommen, sondern fanden eine verwaiste Villa vor. Man sollte sich den Zimmerschlüssel aus einer Box nehmen...nur wurde uns diese zuvor nicht mitgeteilt. Die Gastgeberin Giulia war leider auch telefonisch nicht erreichbar. Letztlich half der andere Manager freundlicherweise aus. Das Zimmer war ok für eine Nacht. Das Frühstück war eher spartanisch.

Bon rapport qualité/prix.

J'ai lu les commentaires après avoir fait la réservation et j'ai failli annuler, mais je suis contente de ne pas l'avoir fait car l'endroit est plutôt charmant. La route pour y aller est étroite mais tout à fait praticable, en tout cas pas dangereuse. Et il est vrai que l'on entend beaucoup l'autoroute, mais pas depuis les chambres car les fenêtres sont bien isolées. La vue est belle et le personnel très aimable.

Le jardin pourrait être mieux entretenu et quelques travaux de maintenance dans les chambres devraient être faits, par exemple dans la salle de bains la tablette vers la fenêtre était décollée, ce qui fait négligé. C'est dommage car le bâtiment est plein de charme et la déco est plutôt soignée.

Na de onveilige trap te hebben gezien hebben wij besloten om een ander hotel te zoeken Via Booking.com.

De kamer met Meerzicht was op de 2e verdieping. Er was geen lift maar een (een onveilige trap zonder leuning) Wij zijn beiden 77 jaar oud en slecht te been. De beheerder vertelde ons dat hij Booking.com had geïnformeerd dat de accommodatie niet geschikt is voor oudere, Hij heeft 28-09-2025 en bericht via Booking.com gestuurd “ Dear Jacob we are so sorry you couldnt stay with us last night”

Solo per la vista, se sei al secondo piano!

La vista!

Strada per raggiungere la struttura scomoda e molto stretta, il mio bagno senza Bidet(la signora si è scusata, ma solo dopo la mia precisazione), neppure una cuffietta per per i capelli, colazione mediocre, caffè a dir poco pessimo! Se credi agli spiriti e sei molto ansioso non proprio il luogo adatto!

Es war ein mega spannender Aufenthalt....man verschwindet in eine Alte Zeit und fühlt sich wie alte adelige aus dem 18 Jahrhundert Mega wer sowas mag wird es Lieben🥰

Die Aussicht und der Charme waren schön

Die Ausstattung, das Bett hat sehr laut gequietscht, es war kalt im Zimmer und man hatte nur eine dünne Decke/Laken. Das Badezimmer war auch teils unfertig renoviert. Das Frühstück war sehr spärlich

Prachtige villa op minder dan een kwartier van het centrum van Como. Heel mooi meubilair en decoratie laten je wegdromen naar de tijd van toen.

Przepiękne widoki , villa z duszą, wspaniałe miejsce na wypoczynek sprzyjający zatrzymaniu się na chwilę. Polecam jednak dotarcie autem - Pieszo dość daleko do przystanku autobusowego ale samochodem wspaniały dojazd. Piękne miejsce, super śniadanka i cudowny kontakt z właścicielką. Bardzo ale to bardzo Dziękujemy!

De authenticiteit van de villa. Goed bed.

Het domein heeft zoveel mogelijkheden die helemaal niet benut worden., De locatie is prachtig, maar je ziet weinig omwille van de wildgroei. Enkel op tweede verdiep zie je het meer. Zelfs zonder zwembad, kunnen de klanten in een mooie tuin vertoeven, maar er is overal onkruid… zo spijtig. Het ontbijt is heel pover. Ik heb geen probleem met selfservice maar oplosbare cappuccino voor Italië???? Er kan zoveel meer gedaan worden met deze locatie, werk aan de winkel !!!

Tolle, alte Villa mit super Aussicht, sehr freundlichen Inhabern und ein sehr gutes Frühstück.

Eine richtig schöne, alte Villa - geführt von außerordentlich freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Inhabern. Ein toll eingerichtetes, sauberes und gepflegtes Zimmer (inklusive Bad) mit bequemen Betten und einer hervorragenden Aussicht auf Como und einen Teil des Comer Sees. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und ausgiebig. Hinzukommend ein riesiges Grundstück mit einem ganz toll und liebevoll angelegten und gepflegten Garten mit vielen tollen Pflanzen (Palmen, Olivenbäume, Weintrauben, Mirabellen, Lorbeerbäume), einem kleinen Teich mit Fischen, einem großen Pool und einer tollen Terrasse zum Frühstücken oder einfach verweilen. Vielen Dank - jederzeit gerne wieder! Mille grazie!! :)
