Owner seemed more focused on the restaurant business than hotel customers. Didn’t receive any information about breakfast at checkin/ later on, and owner didn’t seem to care when we were to pick up our luggage and leave. Hotel itself is clean and what you would expect.

I recently stayed at Hotel San Giuseppe in cernobbio. The hotel was absolutely beautiful. I was greeted by Maurizio. Who made check in very easy. He also had a staff member help with the luggage, a nice touch after a long flight. The room was perfect. I had a terrace outside my bedroom, with an italian view. The room was immaculate. The room had everything i asked for safe, refrigerator a great shower. The rooms get cleaned every day. Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure my stay was unforgettable. ❤️. The hotel is owned by a wonderful family. They are very helpful with transportation and places to see. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. A Very romantic setting. Great breakfast too. I would absolutely stay there again if im in Cernobbio again.

A beautiful family run hotel. Such lovely people that are so friendly and helpful. They have put a lot of love and thought into their hotel. The restaurant doesn’t open every night but served lovely food when they were open. The room was nice and we slept OK. Don’t expect much of a view from the room but it was clean and comfortable which is all tgat matters..

I would highly recommend the Hotel San Giuseppe. It is a must stay if you are traveling to Cernobbio Italy. It is a family owned and operated hotel which is beautifully maintained and decorated. The owners and their children are all pleasant, friendly and eager to assist which has created a welcoming atmosphere to all guests.

This hotel is truly a gem located just a short walk from the lake and the Cernobbio ferry station. The rooms are large and comfortable and the lobby is beautifully decorated. The best part, however, is the amazing family that runs the place. I could not recommend this place more!

Home from home away atmosphere and the friendly demeanour of the family running the business made us feel comfortable and helped us with a few tricky issues we encountered. This is a family-run hotel, with very warn hosts. The couple and a young man run the show. The entrance to this cafe+inn is greeted by some very warm and attractive pieces of furniture and LED lighting. The ground floor is basically the cafe and the rooms are all on the upper floors with limited parking at the rear of the property. The host is very friendly and was ready to provide useful information about the town, places to go. The ground floor cafe is not open for lunch but for breakfast and dinners (both of which are paid and not included in your room tariffs) The rooms are very clean and comfortable beds to sleep. The bathrooms are slick and modern with eco-friendly packaged toiletries with natural ingredients. Property is centrally located and easily walkable from town centre, ferry station and beautiful villas around. Parking is charged at $10 per night but is needed as there are no off-street parking options around. The property is beautified by ivy running all around the cafe, which itself is decorated with plush wooden furnishings and trailing LEDs. It has got some beautiful chandeliers in the cafe. Coffee at the cafe was delightfully tasty!

The staff was very friendly and understanding. We arrived late in the afternoon, and they managed to find a baby bed for out child. The restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the terrace which has an amazing leafy canopy. The room was comfortable and spacious. I hope we can come again very soon! I recommend this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful family-owned venue and the staff were very courteous and friendly. They understood english and even tried to teach us some basic italian phrases. The location was perfect for us, it was easy to go visit the lake (was clos or travel to other towns via buses. The restaurant side was also romantic and dishes tasty.

The Hotel San Giuseppe is in a quiet area of Cernobbio but within easy walking distance of the town centre. The ferry terminal is just 12 minutes’ walk away and provides rides to most towns/villages at the southern end of Lake Como. The ferry to Bellagio for example takes just under 2 hours. Como itself is only 4.5 km away and we walked there and back with ease. The proprietor Maurizio was always on hand to ensure things ran smoothly, provide advice, and generally made our weeks stay thoroughly enjoyable. The restaurant areas are tastefully decorated and dinner in the garden area was very pleasant. The food is excellent, and we found that we intentionally headed back to the hotel for most of our dinners. Due to our late booking, there was only 1 room available. It was equipped with TV, WIFI, AC, small balcony, ensuite with walk-in shower, hairdryer, safe and towels and free toiletries. Being the last room available, our third-floor room was smaller than we would normally take, but perfectly adequate and commensurate with the price. Limited parking is available. Whoever provides the star rating for this hotel need to re-evaluate as it deserves far more. I would recommend the hotel and restaurant and I look forward to staying there again. I just stayed here while planning a wedding in the area over the weekend and had the most amazing stay! This place is one of the most clean and comfortable hotels I have stayed in recently, I seriously could not find one thing to complain about. The location is perfect, walking distance to many restaurants, the main town center & lake. They also have an AMAZING restaurant on the lower level of the hotel with the most beautiful ambiance! The owner was so kind, he helped me when I had a flat tire and had to leave for work, he assisted me in getting it fixed while I was gone all day and arranged a taxi for me to get where I needed to go. I would rate higher if I could - everything was perfect! Thank you!

Positif: Well located and a free car park behind the restaurand, the staff was smiling and very welcoming. To be ameliorated: the floor is made with tiles chich is not confortable and the curtains for our room weren't protecting us from the luminosity so we were woke up earlier that we wanted.
