Tricky parking and driving -but that’s Como and mountains - we took the bus which is just beside to visit other towns after we parked

Beautifully decorated place in a good location
The hotel and its restaurant are beautiful (although restaurant was closed both days we were there!) and the hotel has obviously been renovated so the decor is very nice. It's a good walking distance from town and the harbour where you can get a boat to other towns around Como. The staff were nice, especially the porter who is super smiley and kind!
We stayed during a very hot week, and had a top floor room which got very hot. The aircon essentially had one setting (no matter which temp you put it on) which made the room freezing, so it was too cold to sleep with it on but it warmed up too quickly without it. We woke up every hour to turn it on or off, so had very poor sleep. The window also didn't open because of the velux above (unless you want to be woken up by the 4am light). There was also no cold water, no matter how cold you turned the tap it was always warm, and without a fridge in the room it meant there was no way to have a cold drink! It made the stay not quite comfortable, but I think it would be nicer at a cooler time of year, or in a better room type.

One of the best hotels ever!
This hotel exceeded all of our expectations - absolutely stunning rooms with modern appliances, amazing aircon (much needed) and a very comfortable bed. The room had more strorage and space many four star hotels we’ve stayed have had. The common areas including restaurant and lobby were absolutely stunning, great selection of wines and breakfast was superb. The best thing about our stay was by far the fantastic service provided by the helpful staff who made us feel so welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. They helped us so much with transportations and recommendations that really made our stay special. Considering value for money this hotel was absolutely spectacular and if we are ever again in the Como area, we are definitely coming back.

Was delighted with the hotel overall and will definitely book again if we go back to Lake Como.
Great location - just minutes walk away from the harbour and plenty of restaurants and bars. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating and the food was great. Room had great AC and a skylight with electric black-out blind. Nice clean bathroom with a great shower.
Room was a little small - we each had two bags and there wasn’t much space for them once we unpacked. But it wasn’t uncomfortable and we spent very little time in our room anyway.
