1 Arndale Court - Near York racecourse with parking

Really quiet, clean and furnished to a high standard. On site free parking. Over the other side of York racecourse so an easy walk across the course directly to the admission gates

Nothing negative. I would suggest some storage in the bathroom as there wasn’t a shelf or anything to put toiletries on. The TV signal was intermittent with no screencast facility or access to allow your own Netflix etc. to be used. Small things though that would not prevent us returning

Excellent property, easy to access using public transport with a bus stop almost outside the door. Very well equipped and clean ground floor apartment. Even though it was close to a main route into York it was very quiet with no noise from passing traffic. The owners were very easy and efficient to deal with keeping us informed of access arrangements. Would definitely recommend and if travelling by car the free off-street parking is a real bonus.

One very small point is that the shower could have done with a basket to hold soap, shampoo, etc.

Location was perfect as I was visiting for a conference at the racecourse - was a short walk to the conference centre, and also walkable from the station

It wasn’t a problem for me but I imagine it would be quite difficult for anyone with mobility issues or the elderly to get into the key sage as you have to crouch down very low to reach it - it’s practically on the ground!

Lovely house with everything you could possibly need. Welcome pack was a nice touch. We used the bus that stopped right outside to get into York.
