Lovely place to stay, walking distance into York, about 25 minutes. Street parking outside. Very clean & tidy.
Only negative is the bathroom was downstairs & the stairs are fairly steep.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruby Street. The accommodation was modern, neat, and very tidy, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable visit. The location was excellent, only a 20-minute walk into York city centre, making it easy to explore the city and . Mary and Andy were perfect hosts—friendly and welcoming.
We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting York.

We stayed for just one night in this home, which is very lovely, cozy, clean, well-equipped, and well-located. It’s not in the center of York (about a 20-minute walking distance to The Shambles), but the neighborhood is very beautiful with some lovely cafes and pubs nearby. Would definitely choose this home for longer stays in the future
