The location! We liked the property’s proximity to the centre of hay on wye - just round the corner from the nearest bookshop and local pub.
There was an odd smell on arrival which dissipated when we left the door open for fresh air.

Great location, owners came to make sure we were all settled and left Welsh cakes, they also let us stay slightly later to check out.
The cottage is nice , could do with a little upgrading, and better cleaned , but still a good place to stay.

The location is absolutely perfect. Walking distance from the town. Nearby pub just a walk up the road. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and will stay with them again

Location excellent. Bedroom very good, comfortable. Cooking facilities good.
Television did not function. Loo seat "rock'n'roll" Dining table(?) just a slatted garden table Patio view - either a pile of discarded rubbish or the side of the owner's vehicle.
