Great, relaxing and very comfortable.

The property was beautiful and situated just 5mins walk from Hay's town centre. The garden, while small, was a joy and given the good weather we were able to enjoy autumnal sun and warmth. Everything that you might need for a stay was there provided by the owners. We had a very peaceful and relaxing three day stay. Thank you!!!

This was an excellent cottage with all you'd ever need. The bed was very comfortable We liked the little extra touches like the welcome pack with lots of goodies plus milk, tea and coffee. It was very thoughtful putting torches at the side of the beds useful for going downstairs to the bathroom overnight and for walking along the lane til you reached the street lights

The accommodation was excellent - tastefully decorated with all the facilities you could need. It was in a very quiet area but was only a 5-10 minute walk into Hay-on-Wye town centre. Lynda (the host) had kindly provided local goodies to eat and was on hand to answer any queries. We would absolutely recommend No 10 Dulas.

We had a lovely stay, the location was perfect and there was plenty of space for us to park. The cottage was impeccable, lovely comfy beds and good garden space. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful, we couldn’t have asked for more.

Quite simply, the bedhead in the double room. Metal bedheads that are basically a frame full of holes ensure that pillows just get squashed into them. I prefer hard pillows and expect to be disappointed as I know very few people like them. I could cope with the existing pillows- or could have - had the bed had a solid headboard that pillows don't push through. Consequently, I slept badly. Other than this very subjective and personal issue, it was great. But I'm not sure if I would stay again, purely for this reason. When you don't sleep well on a break, it makes the break kind of pointless.

The hosts were very helpful and efficient in responding to my queries well before arrival. The cottage definitely exceeded expectations because it's very clean, tidy and everything you need was provided. 2-3 questions upon arrival and host Lynda immediately responded to my texts!! Can't ask for more. Highly recommended!

Perfect , exactly what we were looking for, we would both love a return trip.

My friend and I stayed at the cottage as part of our annual pre Christmas shopping trip. The cottage was fantastic, communication was spot on. Welcome pack was very much appreciated. From the moment we drove up the lane we were both smiling , parking perfect at the side of the property, opened the front door to a warm cosy, spotlessly clean comfortable cottage. Spent two nights at the cottage and had a great time buying books and having a drink and food at one of the pubs in the town.

The cottage was perfect in terms of comfort, affordability, and the beauty of the location. We had a wonderful and memorable couple of days - time stood still by the babbling brook and we took stock.

Milk and local cakes, flowers and a personal letter left for us. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Lovely garden with two seating areas where we ate listening to the brook that runs past. Bonus to have flat sheets available for hot nights- many places don’t provide these. Quiet location, co-op just round corner short walk to centre of Hay.

An absolutely perfect short stay for our family ; wonderful location, superbly equipped.

What a wonderful property and location for our short family stay in Hay-on-Wye. The cottage was immaculately presented, clean, warm & cosy, comfortable, well-equipped and very close to town & facilities. Contact with the owners was friendly and professional, directions were very useful, entry to property was easy and a welcome pack of local delicacies as well as essentials such as milk, tea & coffee was much appreciated. Having stayed in many hotels, B&B's and short-stay lets over the years this has to be very near to the top of our all time best stays. Thank you Lynda & Chris.

Relaxing stay

I was looking for somewhere comfortable to relax for a couple of days, and found it. The cottage has been beautifully restored, is warm and cosy and is in a wonderful setting. Lynda provides plenty of information about the local walks etc and certainly gives you a warm welcome with some local goodies

Lovely cottage with charming garden, on the edge of Hay.

Cosy and warm cottage with an a pretty garden - great for eating outside! Peaceful location by a stream with trees and only a short walk into the centre of Hay. Tasteful and attractive throughout, with everything looking recently decorated and spotlessly clean. Our host Lynda was very helpful, friendly and quick to respond to our enquiries. We really appreciated the milk and the cakes there for us to enjoy when we arrived. Many thanks!

Absolutely wonderful in every way!

The cottage was very clean and modern but also cozy. The garden with stream was great for eating and relaxing in the evening and early morning. The location of the property was excellent. Everything in Hay was within walking distance. Hosts were friendly and responsive - they left us a little welcome basket and lots of printed info about the local area.

A fabulous end terrace cottage, peaceful and comfortable and just a short stroll into Hay.

Perfect in every way, tucked away in a peaceful spot with a lovely south facing outdoor space and stream at the bottom of the garden (separated by a fence).The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped with lovely touches such as cut flowers, welcome goodies and a very helpful visitor guide. An easy stroll into Hay with all its amenities. A great weekend with weather to match. We look forward to returning !
