It’s a very cosy cottage, in a brilliant location within Hay-on-Wye. Comfortable beds, good shower, brilliant size tv. So much to love about the place.

I hit my head coming down the stairs but the low ceilings can’t be helped so really nothing.

Lovely place: - Both the house (little garden. Living rooms and beds) and (the location in) the village! - Even when the owners weren't there , we felt really welcome. - Clear explanations how everything worked.

We stayed four nights at the cottage. The property is in an ideal location for visiting Hay-on-Wye—just a two-minute walk to all the bookshops, cafés, convenience store, and the castle. Because the cottage is set slightly back from one of the main streets, it’s wonderfully peaceful and not noisy at all. The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We cooked one evening and found all the necessary tools in the kitchen. The wood burner was easy to use, and we enjoyed cozy evenings by the fire. The beds were very comfortable. The whole property was renovated to a very high standard. The welcome package from the owners was a thoughtful touch—we really appreciated the wine and snacks. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great location very close to high street with shops, cafe etc. Lovely cottage with bags of character and very well appointed. Everything you need was there to make stay thoroughly enjoyable, and very comfortable.
