Very good stay in a very good property

The property was well maintained and very clean. It has sufficient space for three to four people. There is crockery/cutlery/glasses/mugs; electric kettle, hotplates & oven, pans & pots; microwave; toaster and drip coffee machine. We appreciated supply of washing-up liquid, hand-wash and body-wash. The apartment is a 500 metres flat walk to the centre of the main shopping precinct, and 230 metres flat walk to a Lidl supermarket. The property has an allocated parking space adjacent to the apartment. The apartment is located on the first floor via wide spiral staircase. The property’s photos accurately reflect the property. The check-in video instructions were very good and easy to understand.

The mattresses were old and uncomfortable; recommend replacing. The fan in one bedroom is broken (no stand and balanced on a stool) and should be replaced.

I booked this accommodation in June 2025 for a stay in October of the same year. At the time of booking, there were only five reviews, all of which were quite positive. However, over time, new reviews started to mention that the host was difficult to contact, didn’t reply to messages, and that check-in details were only provided late in the day, along with some minor equipment issues. I kept monitoring the reviews before my stay because I wanted my trip to go smoothly. Here is my actual experience: 1.Before check-in (4 pm on the day): I did not receive any messages. At 6:30 pm, I called the host directly and was told to contact another number. When I arrived at 8 pm and called again, the host came about five minutes later to guide me through check-in. Advice for future guests: Don’t rely on message communication — call directly on the day of check-in. 2. Facilities: The apartment was not as bad as I had feared. It had an oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, hairdryer, cookware, dishwasher, and even salt (but no cooking oil or paper towels). The shower curtain seemed newly replaced. The bathroom and kitchen drains were a bit slow, but nothing major. Advice for future guests: Everything works fine if used properly. If you plan to cook, bring your own paper towels. 3. The host helped carry my luggage upstairs. He is helpful guy. 4. Location: Great location — only a 10-minute walk to Interlaken West station, and a large supermarket is just 200 meters away. 5. Surroundings: The neighborhood is quiet.

It’s recommended that the check-in process simply involve sending the key box code to guests two or three days before arrival. As with other family-style accommodations, guests generally don’t need to be shown where everything is.

Wardrobe and desk in the living room, no need. Have hanging space in the bedrooms No mirrors in the bedrooms No ironing board 3 drinking glasses for a 2 bed apartment No filter on the cooker extractor, we don’t use the cooking facilities so can’t comment. Very easy to make this apartment great.

Overall, this apartment is worth the money you pay for a stay in Interlaken

This is a small apartment located on the first floor in a relatively quiet area, with a fairly convenient location for getting to both Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost train stations, although the latter is a bit farther away. The apartment offers decent amenities that are suitable for a family trip or a small group of friends.

One minor drawback is the inconvenient placement of the electrical outlets, which can make usage a bit troublesome.

Horrible

Nothing is good about the property. The owner was so rude that neither she picked my phone nor she responded back. On top Of that even I mentioned at the time of booking for early check in, the owner refused to allow that. I have to wait for more than 3 hours outside the place.

Location of the apartment was also right in the center of the town. Apartment was modern and comfortable.

There were no cabinets and/or shelves in the apartment where we could put our things. Everything had to stay in the luggage.

Da localização, da vaga para estacionar e das instruções para pegar as chaves, embora só as tenha recebido quando eu cheguei no imóvel.

A pia da cozinha estava entupida, e o anfitrião tinha ciência disso não mandou consertar, fiquei 3 dias com a pia entupida. O apartamento tinha um mal cheiro de algo que cozinharam no forno/microondas que era bem desagradável. Achei caro para o que ofereceu. Não havia exatamente nada de comodidades além do sabonete líquido. Acredito que uma garrafa de um litro de água, café e que as perguntas fossem respondidas são o mínimo que um anfitrião poderia oferecer.

讓我11:00可行李置放，很感謝。但晚上回到房間，廚房水槽不通，浴室排水不佳，覺得印象就不好(早上有人正打掃，沒發現回報嗎?)。第2天有派人來維修，稍微好些，設施未提問題需要注意，其他還OK。

Es gab einen Wasserschaden, was uns kurz vor Bezug der Unterkunft mitgeteilt wurde….. wir haben dann eine ERSATZ-Unterkunft erhalten: Das war gut und wir waren dem Vermieter dankbar für den unkomplizierten Ersatz.

Die ERSATZ-Unterkunft war formal in Ordnung, die Betten waren frisch bezogen und okay. Die Unterkunft war eher bereits in die Jahre gekommen, mit deutlich Gebrauchsspuren überall. Auch hier hatte es wohl schon einen Wasserschaden gegeben…..

各種基本設備欠缺：浴室沐浴乳罐子裡沒有沐浴乳（幸好自己帶了香皂）咖啡機沒有濾紙（我要求給2張，民宿方說沒有）沒有食用油（各式分裝調味料幸好自己有帶）後來只好無油烹飪（我住的各地民宿，都有提供這類烹煮的基本油品、調料）碰到下雨，詢問有沒有傘可以借用，也說沒有（整趟瑞士行程，住4個民宿，每一個民宿都有提供雨傘，只有這家沒有）提供電扇，但是沒有立地的腳座，只能靠著牆、放在沙發上，對於減輕房子內部的熱氣，幫助有限。基本上是陽春型住宿，如果詢問協助，都是沒有的。

Hospedagem razoável e difícil comunicação com anfitrião (INSEGURANÇA)

A localização é boa, todavia não deve ser um critério relevante na escolha deste apartamento. Não conhecia a cidade de Interlaken e descobrimos que outras localizações atenderiam da mesma forma. Optamos por ficar próximo ao centro, mas a cidade é bem pequena. Talvez pudéssemos ter ficado melhor hospedado, caso não tivéssemos definido a localização central como relevante.

O contato com o anfitrião foi bem ruim. Consultamos várias vezes (mensagens e telefonemas) se poderíamos antecipar o checkin ou haveria um local que pudéssemos deixar as malas, e só conseguimos resposta quando estávamos na porta do apartamento. A situação ficou bastante desconfortável, pois ficamos inseguros quanto a disponibilidade do apartamento ou se o contato do anfitrião disponibilizado estava correto.
