A great location if you don’t want to hire/ride bikes in Koh Tao, it was less than a 15 minute walk to everything we needed. The host was really hospitable and welcoming, and our room was very clean and replenished with water each day. Beds were also very comfortable, not a party hostel and so mwas very chilled.
Location is so central that there is noise until 3am from neighbouring bars, did not bother or affect our stay us as they also provided ear plugs. If you are sensitive to noise something to consider.

It was very clean, you had a lot of privacy and space in the shared dorm and the staff were lovely and so helpful
Unfortunately it can be a bit loud due to the beach parties but nothing that earplugs can’t sort
