O'chai Bungalows

Right on the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The bungalows are spacious and airy enough. In our bungalow there were two fans that kept our room cool. There was hot water there too. The stuff was very kind and let us change the dates of our stay without any problems. We also enjoyed free tea and coffee with lots of treats at the reception. We would be happy to come back there again.

We were treated in a disrespectful and insulting way by the owner of this place. We were asked to pay before check-out for a some reason, After we extended our stay and were told that we can pay later. Of course we arrived at the exact time they requested to settle the payment- even so, we discovered that they had already changed the lock on our room before the agreed payment time (I also confirmed that I will come to pay on WhatsApp) When we explained that it was unacceptable to treat hotel guests like criminals by locking them out of their own room, the owner claimed they did it because some guests had previously left without paying, as if that justified treating every guest this way. Our conversation with the reception staff was just as disappointing. Their responses were dismissive and disrespectful. They basically told us that if we hadn’t shown up to pay on time, it wouldn’t have been their problem if we had nowhere to sleep that night, and that all of our belongings would have remained locked inside the room until the next morning.

We had a very bad experience here, mostly because of the manager and staff. They never smile to you, it feels that they don’t want you to ask anything, and then answer you the most annoying answers. We had ants in our room, also in bed. The staff won’t give us more than 1 toilet paper a day, none of them were nice or useful. You don’t get at this price water or a fridge, which we did get in most places here in Ko Tao. And the staff wouldn’t agree to clean our room after we stayed there for 2 nights. I don’t recommend, we didn’t feel welcomed at all, which makes this place way worse than what it could have been. באמת מכל הלב, לא ממליצה בכלל. חוויה לא נעימה, לא מזמינה וההכנסת אורחים פה פשוט על הפנים. תשובות הזויות כשמעלים בפניהם בעיות או שאלות, נכנסים למשרד וישר מקבלים פרצוף זעוף. ובנוסף, יש מאוורר מסכן אחד בחדר שאפילו לא זז אז נחנקים מחום. לכו לבונגלוס של המאמא אוצ׳אי, עולם אחר.
