Feels luxurious, like an old castle. Fabulous location and exactly like the pictures. Ideal for smaller families.

Spacious, exactly like the pictures. Perfect location with lots of shops and night time food markets on your doorstep! Comfortable for a family of 3. Not sure about 5 beds. Apart from the main bedroom, there's a single bed upstairs and couch in the lounge.

Be careful with parking if you have a larger vehicle (station wagon or SUV), you'll be required to park in a parking lot as it's a very old building with limited space.

Overall great location in centre and nice apartment!

Location is great. Host was really responsive. Getting into apartment is super easy with a charged phone. Wifi was great. Elevator/building is nice.

Wish we could have parked in courtyard since it was mostly empty - our car was 15 inches too long apparently. The heating could be turned on before arrival because it took a really long time to heat up the apartment. The documentation for pre- check-in is insane - we didn't have to complete that many forms to enter Italy. It took 30 minutes minimum the night before for our family of 5. I thought the pricing was too high per night, the most we spent in any city throughout northern Italy for an Airbnb.

A historic apartment very handy with a responsive manager

A beautiful property and fabulous location. We had a few problems, see below. But Lorenzo went out of his way to rectify these issues. If it wasn’t for this we would have rated property 10/10. The lounge room had a huge TV. My daughter & I had a chill afternoon and watched a movie. Felt like being at the cinema!

Check size of car and restrictions. The hire car company gave us an ‘upgrade’ but car too big to fit in parking so had to park 10 min walk away. Also, no hairdryer, no coffee pods, I don’t this the ‘cleaner or housekeeper did a good job’, but Lorenzo did a great job answering our complaints and fixing issues. We couldn’t find washing machine, it was in the attic upstairs. Directions would help as we booked specifically for these inclusions. Shower is a drizzle, can’t wash hair. But we’d already seen that on past reviews and understand that is what happens with historic buildings. Modena is a great town, get a small car and you’ll be able to take advantage of parking in courtyard.

Fabulous apartment steps from Modena Cathedral

The apartment is in a historic building in the historic center, very close to the cathedral. Interior is completely remodeled yet retains historic features. Very spacious and comfortable. The free parking space in the courtyard is a big plus too.

Access requires cell signal. Our cell phone didn't have reliable cell signal in Modena, so often had to wait or restart the phone. We didn't complete the passport info ahead of time, so we couldn't get the access link before arrival. Then it's hard to get into the building and park. So make sure 1) you fill out passport info ahead of time to get checkin info 2) have cell signal to get in.

A beautiful and charming old aristocratic house in a lively neighborhood,

I recently stayed at this beautiful, charming house and had a wonderful experience. The building has a classic, aristocratic feel, with old-world architecture that gives it a lot of character. It’s located in a lively area, very close to the train station, which made getting around the city really easy. The atmosphere of the neighborhood is vibrant, and there are plenty of cafes and shops nearby. The interior of the house is cozy and full of charm – it feels like stepping back in time, in the best way possible.

The only downside was the lack of a washing machine, which made longer stays a bit less convenient. However, everything else more than made up for it. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a stylish and well-located stay!

Beautiful old apartment in perfect central town location overlooking Main Street.

First of all, the communication with Lorenzo was excellent from prior to arrival to leaving. The advice was excellent and really quick to respond. The location was excellent considering there was allocated parking, couldn’t be more central. The apartment was extremely spacious and very comfortable especially as there were only two of us staying. We loved the decor and fell of the old building that wasn’t overly modernised, it still retained its charm. The bottle of wine was most welcome after a long hot drive .

Not much really. The air conditioning cannot be regulated from the apartment, it required a call to Lorenzo. Unfortunately the setting was still 26.5 deg C which was still far too warm for us in 34 deg C heat. We could have requested another reduction but didn’t want to keep calling. Another small issue was the amount of crockery and utensils, it was ok for just the two but any more would find an issue. These are two minor issues that I’m sure could be sorted very easily. One issue that we knew about was the shower pressure though it wasn’t that much of a problem for us, it worked adequately more often than not.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Modena's Old town

Lovely apartment in the heart of Modena Old town with it's own parking space (subject to the size of a car, but our car was less than 4,5 m, so all was good). The apartment is literally in the city centre, in a beautify maintained building, which is also housed by some cultural institution. Very close everywhere, so it's so we only used car twice - to get there and to leave. Walking distance to Modena's Enzo Ferrari Museum, which is a must, as it is so beautiful and so worth visiting. Apartment itself is lovely, large, stylish and very well equipped with a huge TV on the wall and comfortable sofa (which convers to bed). The host is very nice, responds to messages very quickly and granted us access to the limited traffic zone in Modena, so that we could reach the apartment by car.

Everything was great, only one little thing is a relatively low water pressure under the shower, but this happens often in many places.

Beautiful palazzo with king bed, loft with twin bed, pullout sofa and secure internal courtyard parking in centro

Beautiful palazzo with bright airy windows, great woodwork, and comfortable beds (even the pullout sofa). Internal parking was amazing. The property is on the main road that intersects the center, offering easy access.

Water pressure made it difficult to shower.

Appartamento incantevole, e d'atmosfera, pulito e spazioso, completo di tutto dalle stoviglie posate asciugamani per ogni utilizzo , bollitore per thè ecc....Posizione ottima vicino al centro. Bottiglia di vino di benvenuto. Assolutamente consigliato.

Giusto per cercare il pelo sull'uovo,e sicuramente una svista in quest'occasione, non c'erano le cialde del caffè, pur essendoci la macchinetta. Giusto per eccellere Una bottiglia di acqua in frigo(giusto se uno arriva e per il tempo di organizzarsi), così come un rotolino di carta da cucina o salviette.

Palazzo storico molto bello, posizione centrale. Appartamento grande.

Casa dal bel potenziale ma con mobili “agé”. Non pulitissima (lenti altrui trovate appiccicate al comodino e polvere su diverse superfici), no tende oscuranti negli spazi adibiti al sonno (camera da letto e sala), pressione dell’acqua in bagno inesistente, impossibile farsi la doccia. Tutte gli elettrodomestici e lampade erano shucko con prese della casa standard ed un solo adattatore in tutta la casa. Sistema di check-in folle con un’applicazione che comporta nella totalità dei passaggi 15 minuti a persona. Nel titolo si menziona internal parking peccato vada bene solo per una piccola utilitaria (per dovere di cronaca poi precisato nelle note di dettaglio - sarebbe meglio evitarlo nel titolo o essere più espliciti)

Pas une bouteille d eau a disposition , le lit est a faire a l arrivé, pas d occultant sur les fenêtres. Pas de cosmétiques dans la salle de bain. Enregistrement numérique fastidieux Dommage bel appartement nécessitant un gros rafraîchissement
