We were very disappointed by the whole experience that caused us anxiety and concern while we were in Modena.

The location was very good

Due to a leak into the property below from our unit we were told we had to be relocated after 2 nights. There was back and forth from the host all of the time we were there about a blocked sink etc. We were told at one point the problem of the leak had been fixed even though there was a Plummer/tiler covering and replacing floor tiles in the main bathroom. There was cement dust everywhere so it would not have been possible for us to stay there. There was a smell in one bathroom all of the time we were there and the sink in the other bathroom was blocked with hair and didn’t drain properly. I noticed in the reviews that this smell had been an issue previously. They relocated us outside the centre to an area where we felt uncomfortable going out at night that was over two kilometres from the centre. We had no transport other thst taxis etc. We paid for 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms however we were relocated to a property with 1 bathroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. We will be requesting a refund.

Accomodation was acceptable

It was a bit difficult getting information from the hosts. It appears that communication was running through a third party provider and not the accomodation owner so some of our specific questions were not answered completely.

Beautiful place

There was a smell from the bathrooms that was a bit off putting but left the window open & that helped

Terrible smell main bathroom

The place was nice and clean, comfortable beds and good linens but there was a powerful smell coming from the main bathroom that was terrible and made the bathroom unusable. It was difficult to sleep comfortably in the main bedroom with the smell coming from the en-suite. Unless fixed I would not recommend this apartment.

Smelly, dark apartment with a breakfast (see photos) that was a joke. Can’t recommend with clean conscience.

The Location is pretty good, the Apartment is OK, but not as nice as it looks on the pictures.

The apartment is very dark, practically no daylight, windows are obstructed or show into a tiny courtyard. The bathrooms had a smell which was not acceptable for us. Please be advised that the breakfast included is a joke and it should not be allowed to call something like a candy bar waffle with jam a breakfast. For healthy and normal people a breakfast is some ham, cheese, bread, eggs, whatever, but not some sweets. For this type of breakfast everyone could put that in his offer. Just give people one candy bar per person and you have an upgraded apartment. Total joke. And the comment from the host was, we didn’t state what we want for breakfast??? Really, we need to say that candy bars are no breakfast. For the smell in the bathrooms we got the info, that all apartments in the old town smell like that. Really? We slept in a few and it wasn’t stinking from canalization in any of them. I don’t recommend this place, not with a clean conscience.

Close to the centre and well set up if you want to cook with produce from the markets. New renovation, very clean.

Nothing really except it’s a good 15-29 minute walk from the station if you have luggage.

Muy bien.

En el centro, totalmente equipado y con camas cómodas. Además, los dueños muy atentos y agradables. En general, apartamento para repetir.

Las instalaciones dan un poco de miedo, se ve que es un edificio en remodelacion. El ascensor muy lento, llegué a pensar que me quedaba encerrada.

Alloggio in buona posizione da poco ristrutturato

Alloggio da poco rinnovato. Molto pulito anche se molto minimal sia su servizi che su biancheria .

Parti comuni ancora in parte cantiere e quindi molto sporche, area sottostante di sera che diventa zona di bivacco con rifiuti annessi.
