A family run business with a kind touch. The hammock balcony overlooking the train tracks was great! It’s far enough away from the main strip in Ella that you can relax.
To get there you have to drive past a municipal dump which is stinky. The property is far enough away however that it is fine. Many stairs for anyone who is mobility challenged.

We had a wonderful stay at Fern Hill Cabins. The rooms are excellent, and the family room in particular has an absolutely incredible view – waking up to the scenery each morning was a real highlight. The team were fantastic throughout our stay. They happily arranged transportation whenever we needed it and even washed all of our clothes for a very reasonable price, which was such a helpful extra. Breakfast was delicious and varied each day, with something different every morning, which we really appreciated. A beautiful place to stay with warm and helpful staff. We would strongly recommend Fern Hill Cabins to anyone visiting Ella!

Beautiful place, amazing location looking over the train tracks, breakfast was amazing and different every morning, projector was really cool to use at night, big bathroom with a nice shower, lots of food options nearby.
