This was the best homestay throughout our trip in Sri Lanka, both regarding room state and facilities and the quality of the breakfast. There is a lot of attention to detail, as you can see from the smaller details in the room. The view from the balcony is spectacular and this is truly a nice spot far from the Westernized Ella city centre. There is a really nice restaurant just a few min walk with delicious home made food that the owner recommended to us for dinner.
The location per se is not easily accessible: the owner had to pick us up by tuk tuk and then there are a couple of steep set of stairs to get to the room.. hence why you get such a nice mountain view: totally worth the effort.

The perfect location for a few days gazing at the stunning scenery. So peaceful but only a short walk into the town. We were made to feel extremely welcome by the lovely family who own the homestay. Highly recommend!

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The highlight of my stay was the breathtaking view from my balcony—I could have spent all day just relaxing and taking it in. A wonderful place to stay, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Staff (Surangh ) was very helpful and tried everything he could to help us. View from small terrace is good.
Place is not done professionally, should consult someone to set up rooms properly. Access through stairs is challenging. NON AC rooms .
