Udessa Rest Ella

Very quiet but close to town. Lovely breakfast each morning. A friendly family in a great bush setting with your balcony in the tree tops. Good hot water.

Wifi not the best.

La ubicación me pareción muy buena, algo alejada del bullicio de la calle principal, lo cual se agradece ya que por las noches Ella es muy ruidosa. La habitación era correcta y la cama con mosquitera era muy cómoda. El desayuno lo encontré normal y decente pero nada espectacular.

Una de las noches no había agua caliente, no sé si porque tienen un sistema de acumuladores y otros huéspedes agotaron el agua al ser tarde o porque había un problema. El resto de la estancia no tuvimos problemas.

La localisation légèrement excentrée et en hauteur, à proximité du chemin pour aller voir Ella’s Rock mais en restant à 10min à pied du centre. Le petit déjeuner est sublime et bien délicieux !

The room is clean and the bed is big.

Unfortunately, the hosts only did the bare minimum. They do not speak English, which is fine, but they also did not make much effort to help. I asked if they could order a taxi for me to get to the train station, which they forgot, and in the end they had to ask a neighbour to drive me on short notice. Because of a dietary restriction, I asked them to leave one item out of the breakfast and replace it with something else. They only left it out, so the breakfast ended up being very small and I had to eat out instead. I also forgot my headphones at the accommodation. They confirmed that they had them, but when I asked if they could arrange sending them to me (of course at my expense), they stopped responding to my messages. Overall, I did not feel very welcome. The shower was also problematic: the water was extremely hot — so hot that I couldn’t shower without risking burns and had to use only cold water.
