The room is very spacious, especially the toilet and I loved that! Also, it is a little out of the main street, so it is quiet and overlooks the Ella Rock. The hosts/managers of the place is a family, which is run mostly by the elderly retired couple (the lady is very nice!). The breakfast is homecooked and is interesting!
The hotel is still being built, so there are construction workers during the day, but that did not bother me much because I was out for most of the day.

I have stayed at dozens of hotels in Sri Lanka. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Gorgeous view from my bed. Walking distance to Ella city. The manager and the staff were very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much. I will visit again.

Well, the new owner is a professional guy and he supplied everything for our comfort. It’s very close to the town, so easy access to all the great restaurants.
Nothing negative about the hotel. The on-and-off drizzles were a bummer because Ella usually is of good weather, unless you quickly step outside asap it seizes, for site seeing, hikes, and dining out.
