Sunbeam Homestay

This one was great, for the price, nice view, nice room, big bathroom, we can stay longer. Also everything is nearby. And the hill is steep but short.

The only downside are the dogs, guarding this apartment. It wasn't a big problem, but we tried to bribe them with chicken 😂

SunBeam Homestay in Ella is a very basic place to stay, with minimal facilities, but it works well if you’re mainly looking for a convenient location and a good price. The room and bathroom need improvements in terms of maintenance and overall condition, but the place is close to the city’s commercial street, good restaurants and bars and a great starting point to all of Ella’s attractions (Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock, Nine Arch Bridge, tea plantations, etc). Overall, it’s a practical option for travelers who don’t need luxury, just a decent, affordable base in a great location.
