Nice little hideout in Ella, its a bit more quite than it is in the busier areas of Ella. If you walk its a bit of a hike to get to the home stay, keep in mind there are 2 routes to get there, one is a bit shorter depending on where you want to go. The view from the homestay is beautiful. You can have breakfast with the view of the waterfall.
At night on the dark street to the homestay we got chased and nearly attacked by a bunch of dogs. Obviously not the fault of the homestay, but you might want to rent a scooter to not walk this street a night

The view from the terrace was amazing. The host was very nice.
Our taxi could not climb up the hill to the home stay. We walked. It was a good exercise!

Great accommodation away from the hoards of tourists in Ella. It was nice to be along the train tracks, with easy access to the Little Rawana Waterfall and Ella Rock hiking trail. It was also really easy to walk to/from Ella station and town along the tracks. A couple of nice restaurants close by too further along the tracks which are more local / authentic and cheaper than town. The room was comfortable and the view from the balconies looks towards the waterfall and Ella Rock - brilliant indeed!

Property has a good location and view. It can be a quiet place to just get away from the crowds of Ella if you are into that.
Location is very hard to reach and many Tuk Tuks will refuse to take you there. Some people choose to walk, which you can do if you are fit and not carryng much luggage.
