Great location with amazing views & easy walking distance to town. Nice to have some easy food options available. The room felt spacious and everyone who works there was helpful & friendly.

Unfortunately the bathroom smelt a little damp & musty, which affected my sleep. Very nice to have hot water though!

Loved everything - the outdoor space is exceptional, hammocks to read in, amazing views, great yoga space very calm energy everywhere

Worth coming to this hostel for the view alone - it is unmatched! The activities on offer at the hostel really made our stay - cooking authentic Sri Lankan cuisine with Mr Garlic and evening yoga and sound bath with the view over Ella. The hostel also helped us with recommendations for outside the hostel like meditation at the monastery and the tea factory, and sorted us tuk tuks. Would recommend star gazing at night too! The staff were very attentive throughout our stay - keeping us well fed with top notch food and providing a laundry service too. Thank you!

The views were beautiful. The location in respect of the main road where the restaurants etc was very close. Grounds were lovely including the sitting areas. The yoga was really good with a great teacher and very affordable. The fee goes towards helping local schools which is amazing. The breakfast was great and very affordable. Good fan in bedroom which kept us cool. Staff were great and helped take our bags down upon checkout. They provided tour recommendations.

The bed was very hard. The bathroom was dated and could have been cleaner. There was a odd smell coming from the bathroom - maybe damp. It should be noted by bookers that it is not accessible for all - there are 132 very steep steps to access the property. We are quite fit people but we struggled to climb these multiple times a day. There is no barrier either side which is a safety risk - if you fell to either side you would be seriously injured. The view was worth it but the stairs were a downside, especially with massive backpacks.
