It’s everything people say in the reviews. Spectacular views. Incredible hospitality. Food was so tasty and reasonably priced. And a location that a van can’t get to. But the hosts met us where the road narrowed too much for the van to pass, and took us up by tuktuk. We walked to Ella Rock from the hotel. The paths are not easily marked but that was part of the adventure for us.
The location is hard to get to but that is clear in the existing reviews. Just don’t expect a van to get there , plan with the owners to be dropped off at a spot where they can meet you.

The view of the waterfall, wonderful food, helpful staff, HOT shower, clean and comfortable and good value. We ordered dinner and they made it mild for our kids too. The balcony is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the waterfall, the birdsong, and the mist.

The best view I have ever seen in Ella!!
The breakfast was also lovely :)
The owner has such a sweet family and you could tell he is a great person, even made us breakfast to take with us at 7am!

The freshness around the property during morning time.
Breakfast view was excellent.
The son is very well-behaved , smiling & awesome in guest delight.
Location is too poor, road condition is very bad. Very narrow, uneven road to reach the property. Cars don't reach so tuk-tuk is required.
The room on the top-floor had a lizards so had to change room.
Construction is going in and around the site.
Not many people staying there, just a couple more.
