Cozy Homestay Waterfall Road Ella

I loved everything about my stay at this property in Ella!! Clean, Incredible views, cozy bed, private balcony, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful and served every morning on the balcony of my room. I extended my stay an extra night and would’ve stayed much longer if I had the time. About a 10 min walk into town and plenty of tuk tuks available if needed. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Truly 5 stars!!

- This homestay is located a little outside of town in a valley. This makes it super quiet and green. You can walk to Ella in 10 days minutes along the railway tracks. The host is incredibly friendly and caring. There is a super varied breakfast every day, which always varies a little. We stayed here much longer than planned because we feel so comfortable.

We had a wonderful time here! The balcony of the room looks out on the waterfall and we saw so much wild birds, mongoose, monkeys! Even when there was a storm, this was such a romantic place that my boyfriend proposed here.🧡 The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka, maybe my life.😅 It is a bit far from the centre but there is a shortcut by walk and reachable by tuktuk. You can also hear the other rooms quite well but as many go to sleep early here that is no problem. I loved the rain on the roof as well! Perfect to sleep. Beautiful place!
