Clean and comfortable spacious room despite unpleasent smell. Clean bathroom. Good provision of equipment and washing up items

A smell in the room that required the purchase of air freshner. There is a large stain on the carpet just inside the entrance to the room that may have been the cause of this smell. The handle on the kitchen tap is wobbly but worked. The shower drain needs unblocking as it filled the tray up each time it was used to the point of risk of overfow, which thankfully did not happen. The window was wide open on my arrival and to close it requied some delicate balancing on the end of the bed, anyone shorter than me would have found it impossible to reach. The blind was a littke tricky to open if you did not know how to do so. Information on where to recycle bottles and plastic would be beneficial.

There was nothing to dislike. It was excellent

Bathroom was NOT attached and this is not made clear. However, it was easily accessible. No bathroom mirror.
