Great place to stay and interesting train history.

The property was very well equipped and was very clean. The owner had gone to the trouble of making it Christmassy with a tree and decorations which we hadn't expected. The owner had also provided some bear necessities which was nice as it was Christmas and the shops were shut. We both liked the clean bathroom and the facilities, it was a good use of the space.

We liked all of it. The bed was a bit bouncy and had a bit of a hump in the middle but we slept ok. We usually steam all our veg, properties never have steamers, but we made do with the steel colander and a sauce pan.

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful part of North Yorkshire.

A very comfortable,warm,and well equipped property. Very convenient for the coastal walks, and all the communities along that part of the north coast. I personally didn’t like the duvet which was too heavy, there are lighter, but just as warm ones available, but that’s just my personal preference.” I would recommend this accommodation wholeheartedly particularly for a single person , but it would also be totally fine for two.

I suppose it’s position just on a bend in the road could be a bit awkward when going away from the property, although I didn’t have a problem, but I really don’t think the property can be faulted. Oh it would have been nice to have had a steamer with the pans. !!

This little air B&B is has been an excellent find for us. It is ideal for one or two people to stay . We have been visiting family and friends in the area and we're delighted with Th Station Masters Cottage. It was absolutely spotless and well equipped. Also warm and cosy and reasonably priced . It's hard to find somewhere that isn't catering for families or a party of people. (We didn't need a 2 or 3 bedroomed house) We will definitely be booking this little gem again and would highly recommend it to other single travellers or couples .

The apartment was perfect - we had everything we needed and more. We found it very warm and comfortable and appreciated the welcome pack of essentials and goodies. The leaflets provided were really useful - especially the booklets produced by the local Ramblers featuring some lovely local walks.

Self catering .... BUT, the hosts left a welcome pack which included Milk and Butter and there were also teabags, sugar, conserves and sauces supplied in the property too.

Nothing to improve upon, it far exceeded expectations.
