Old Stables Cottage

Well situated location, lovely cottage. Ideal if you want to venture to Whitby & Goathland. As well as the surrounding areas.

We have stayed at various cottage vacations within Yorkshire & for reasons without knowing there was mo welcome pack or milk to make a cup of tea/ coffee after travelling seven hours by car by which the village shop was closed so no refreshments were had.

The quirky layout and great lounge area.

The spongy floor in the upstairs bathroom. The bottom step into the first bedroom.

Absolutely stunning place. Easy access to buses, shops and wonderful for walks. Peaceful friendly village. Met lots of beautiful people and wonderful small businesses. Defo back again. Thank you 🌹

The property was clean Free car park was very close and handy

A full and useful guide to the property and how everything works. A welcome pack (even just basic - eg pint of milk, small loaf, orange juice etc) Showers had no power and the one in the en suite leaked into the kitchen so was not usable Sleeps 6 but one only usable shower Sleeps 6 but only seats 4 at dining table No washing machine (would bt useful) Glassware was questionable - no wine glasses of any real decent size. House was freezing upon arrival and took hours to warm through. Felt very cluttered. A good 10 min drive from saltburn despite being labelled as saltburn
