Excellent location and very friendly staff.

Nothing .... good value for money.

Super close to everything! Staff are really friendly too!

Only bad bit is our heating don’t work very well, (we slept in jumpers!) and the lights kept going out.

Position of hotel perfect, spotless clean rooms,hotel manager very helpful and very polite,will return.

location was good

i asked to get parking for our 2 cars and was told it would cost 40 euros. I was then asked to pay another further 40 euros for the following night. do not park in their garage as it is 1. very expensive, 2. limited access ( you have to keep requesting access if you want to get to your car) 3. access is via outside only.

Location

Rooms were very basic. Room smelled as if there had been a smoker in it. First room we were given was very cold with an old radiator that didn’t work. Staff moved us to a much warmer room. However it faced on to the street and was exceptionally noisy. Pillows were very uncomfortable and double bed was two singles joined together and also very uncomfortable.

Good location for the seafront & Calais town. Real secure parking at a cost, helpful reception.

It was so noisy, loud people in the hotel corridors, loud people in the square all through the night & a Sunday market setting up from the early hours of the morning. The rooms really need double/ secondary glazing & better door seals Bathroom smelt of drains Quite small room

Very, very clean. Room, facilities & location great for us. Balcony with city view with bars & restaurants nearby. Staff friendly, helpful & professional.

Staff was very kind, responsive and helpful.

WiFi very weak, dropping constantly causing data charges to spike. WiFi also needs security updates to be up to standard. Bathtub very high off the floor and quite treacherous. Only half the lighting and power outlets in the room worked. Building needs significant upgrades and repairs.

everything else choose this because its 3 star rated but very disappointed no basic stuff that even lower grade hotel or AB&B provide for free (no kettle , no welcome water , no coffee , no tea ) bad experience - noisy area there is a club blasting loud music during weekend until 3am and room is not sound proof - missing tv remote control , no solution (sounds like picky but its basic stuff) - no working heating in the room (we are april 2025 , still cold at night ) - bathroom water issue , hot water is not hot enough and its lacking pressure to take a proper shower , we contact the reception and they were aware of the issue for several days but didnt mention it when arriving not during the booking process ! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE for professional hotel , they should have warned us that they may have issue when calling or booking and provide an alternative or discount/ compensation which they didnt when I asked them during the checkout Small discount and commercial gesture (free breakfast or whatever ) could have ease and be positive sign but unfortunately no such thing. hotel direction should be more careful about their customers and their feedback as a small discount or gesture is nothing compare to a bad review , sorry but its a NOT RECOMMENDED

The Recepton lady was great very helpful The room was a good size and close to restaurants and train station

There was no TV remote I asked for one but it didn’t come It s near a club and the noise of friggin loud bass and retro music went on from 9.00 to 3 am in the morning it was impossible to sleep jus a constant noise

The location is ideal for foot passengers arriving on the ferry from Dover. The staff were available and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well looked after. Did not have the breakfast.

Would have liked tea facilities and water available in the room. Bed was harder than what we’re used to.

Le cadre et la vue était beau. Rustique et modernité au rendez-vous.

Nuisances sonores dans la rue très désagréables en pleine nuit. Sûrement dû au positionnement de l'hôtel au niveau de la place. La propreté était très limité également. ( Poussières au sol, meuble, bonbon encore dans l'armoire de rangement. )

Sehr ruhig und trotzdem zentral in der Altstadt am Markt gelegen. Einfacher Standard, aber völlig okay, erst recht für nur eine Nacht. Frühstück gut. Servicepersonal gut.

Mittwochs und am Wochenende ist Markt vor der Tür. Wohin dann mit dem Auto? Eigene Parkplätze scheint das Hotel nicht zu haben ...

Väldigt tillmötesgående och hjälpsam personal. Fina, simpla rum. Fanns allt jag behövde. God frukost. Bra upplevelse, jag rekommenderar.

Ligger centralt precis vid ett torg så det är bullrigt dygnet runt, så öronproppar rekommenderas. Åkte färjan på morgonen och det verkade inte finnas någon shuttle buss som jag hade fått höra, så jag fick ta taxi till färjeterminalen. Men personalen på hotellet var så snälla och hjälpte mig med att beställa taxi.

Le calme et l’emplacement

The hotel was right on the main square in Calais. It is surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is rather dated and many things could do with replacing. It was incredibly noisy on the square until the early hours . Then the noise started up again at about 6am when a market was setting up on the square! We were there on a Friday night so I imagine the weekends are always noisy.
