Dangy Kato

Ich war jetzt das vierte Mal in Aswan und habe immer und werde immer in dieser Unterkunft übernachten. Ich liebe Aswan bzw. die Insel Elephantine und das Zimmer ist einfach nur schön mit kleinem Balkon, den man in den frühen Morgenstunden und zum Sonnenuntergang super nutzen kann. Es ist einfach wunderschön direkt am Nil. 💝💝

Es gibt nichts, was mir nicht gefallen hat. Man kann aber über alles mit dem Betreiber sprechen sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend und immer für einen da. Vor allem, wenn man, wie ich als Frau alleine reist und doch mal eine Frage hat oder Hilfe braucht. 💝💝

I am SO SAD we could only stay one night. This place was an absolute dream. Yasser is the kindest Nubian man we’ve met. He gave us a tour of his farm, showed us his animals, talked about his culture. The room? MAGICAL. You have the perfect view of the Nile on your balcony. We spent the day inside the room when it was 40 degrees, reading while also looking outside, with the fan on. It was just perfect. His son showed us where we could swim. But for me it’s how clean and comfortable this room was. The shower (compared to most we had in Egypt) was big and comfortable. The room was VERY clean, the ceiling was painted in a Nubian style with the tiles. And the balcony had two chairs for us to seat and enjoy the sparkly Nile with the dunes and the palaces in front. I am really hoping to come back to this guest house, honestly. Yasser THANK YOU.

Absolument TOUT! La vue imprenable sur le Nil, le calme du lieu est juste magnifique! Notre hôte Yasser est quelques-un d’une gentillesse incroyable ! Sa femme s’occupe de la nourriture et des chambres est tout aussi merveilleuse et nous avons pu faire une balade en bateau sur le Nil avec son fils.

Room was ok for the price and location was good although not directly on the water

When we were met by the owner, I was asked to cancel my booking at dangy Kato on booking.com and pay him directly .. it's not something I would like to do, but had to do because he wanted payment and said he didn't have an account with booking . additionally he kept asking were we going to book more nights and we said we didn't know ( by then it was a no) and asking us where we were moving too , felt too intrusive . The balcony had a great view but only 2 plastic chairs that were in the room that you could put outside to sit on and no shade so couldn't sit out in the 37c heat. There are better places on the west of the island that we stayed in.
