Very nice owner. Offered us free breafast the last day and took us to the train station with boat for free. We stayed at Basmatic2 (they have two houses) on the top floor with a very nice shady private terass. Spent many hours there overlooking the Nile. Very quiet at night Over all a very nice stay.

Beside the Nubian art around the hotel, the local people who work there were amazing and smiled with all their actions. And of course the Nile view and there was a small beach beside the hotel where I swam 💪🏼💚
A lot of stairs, for me and other young people was good, but for the older friends with a lot of luggage that was hard a bit.

Staff was very nice. Host was overall great and relaxed, he wasn't only focused on getting more money, which is a great thing. The location was very quiet and relaxing with a nice view to the Nile and the dunes.
Location was fine, host was very nice and well intentioned but gave really bad directions and advice. We lost more than half a day due to bad guidance and didnt visit the good sights in Elephantine. Really expensive Restaurant. The host is judgmental towards tattoos, he says they pollute the blood, he wasn't asked on his opinion.
