Beautiful, very pretty location, excellent views. Super friendly host and lovely breakfast very helpful with organising tours and extremely kind and honest people.

There was nothing not to like

The people were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. The property has an amazing location with beautiful views and is very clean and well presented. It has a lovely atmosphere and we enjoyed talking to Rawia who arranged for us to go to see Animalia Museum, which is an insight into Nubian culture created by her brother. They are very well educated and interesting family. She was extremely helpful when it came to organising Tours and we were very happy with the fact that they seem to be very genuine and honest and made our stay a highly enjoyable one.

There was nothing we did not like

Charming guest house on Elephatine Island, near the ferry terminal (a 5-minute ride from the mainland). Great view of the Nile and mainland Aswan from the covered deck, where a very nice breakfast is served. Very friendly and helpful staff, who made sure we had water when we went out for a walk on a hot day, and helped us find our way on the dirt paths winding through the island. The room was small but had all that we needed, including A/C and a small fridge, and a comfy bed. If you want to see the real Elephatine Island (not the one behind walls at the giant resort), with all of its bright colors and welcoming folk, stay here.

We liked everything

Rawia and the staff were incredible! Elephantine is a quiet, calm island, but the ferry to the main land it less then 60 secs so it truly is a wonderful location. Breakfast was very good as well. Rawia did everything to make us feel safe and welcomed and she helped us coordinate plans. Thank you for everything!
