The family running the guesthouse was very hospitable and helpful, arranging all our activities and transport, and even letting us stay a bit longer after checkout until our late evening flight. Elephantine Island is a quiet, peaceful spot - in my opinion, so much nicer staying here than staying in the city or the Nubian village, which feels very hectic. As a bonus, the views from the property are beautiful!

The hotel is facing theEast . Looking at the Nile tge botanical garden and the hills . That feeling of peace and quiet is priceless . It takes 5 minutes by the hotel boat to get to the pier on to Aswan . You can walk for minutes or hours in the narrow streets in the Iland and get to the public ferries as well . The hotel serves delicious family food and in the Island offers many of the best restaurants . We went to Abu Simbel for the day and Mostafa was there again to help us planned a super comfortable trip by car . Thanks to Mostafa and his family.
