Look no further for a place to stay in Aswan! Meshra Katto provides a delightful and peaceful respite for the weary traveler. The view of the nearby Nile is incredible and captivating at every hour of the day from sunrise to sunset. Mohamed, the owner is an amazing guy, knowledgeable, sweet and able to assist in all matters. He booked our transfers to Abu Simbel and Luxor with stops at Kom Ombu and Edfu with a private car and driver at a highly competitive rate and gave us great advice on what to see. We flew to Aswan and booked a transfer with Mohamed from the airport and the car was waiting and the ferry launch as well that took us to the pier at the foot of the hotel and back to meet our driver when we left for Luxor after 4 days. I hope to return to see Aswan and especially Meshra Katto and the wonderful Mohamed. A guaranteed great experience/

We had a wonderful stay at Meshra Kattoo. Mohamed was very kind and helpful, assisting us in organizing our excursions, including our trip to Abu Simbel. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the view from our room was fantastic. We were able to relax exactly as we had hoped. We would highly recommend staying on Elephantine Island, and especially at Meshra Kattoo.
