If you're looking for a place in Aswan that truly stands out, JJ Guesthouse is the one. The cleanliness, hospitality, and overall experience are on a completely different level. Before arriving in Aswan, I stayed in several hotels in Cairo, including some four-star hotels, and honestly, none of them came close to the cleanliness and attention to detail at JJ Guesthouse. JJ is one of the kindest hosts I've ever met. He genuinely cares about his guests and always makes sure everything is going well. His entire team is fantastic, from Om Omar to the chef, and they all make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Their kindness feels sincere and natural—they help because they truly care, not because they're expecting tips or anything in return. The breakfast deserves special praise. It was fresh, delicious, and generous every morning. In fact, I've had breakfasts here that were better than those offered by many four-star hotels in Cairo. Another thing I really appreciated is that there is absolutely no pressure. Unlike some places that constantly try to sell tours or activities, JJ Guesthouse lets you enjoy your stay at your own pace. If you need help, they're happy to assist, but you'll never feel pushed into anything. The guesthouse itself is spotless, well-organized, quiet, and comfortable. The air conditioning works perfectly, which is especially important in Aswan, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to get a great night's sleep. What makes this place truly special is that it feels less like a guesthouse and more like staying with people who genuinely want you to have the best possible experience. I can confidently say that JJ Guesthouse was one of the highlights of my trip to Egypt, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

I didnt stay longer

Our stay was amazing! JJ and his family were the best host! As soon as we arrived he helped us plan our trip. He arranged a motorboat and guide to take us to Nubian village and the highlight of our trip was a felucca ride on JJ’s boat - it is a must do! We could not recommend this guesthouse and JJ more, plus the food we had for breakfast and dinner was just amazing!

Very clean rooms, great people. JJ & family might be one of the best hosts I have stayed with. Great value for money rooms as well.

2 small nitpicks.. a) please add a small foot towel for the bathroom. b) some rooms had issues with the bathroom locks. Neither a reason to stop from booking the place, but would be great if fixed for future guests.
