La amabilidad del personal, se encargan de ayudarte con tu viaje ofreciéndote servicios a buen precio. La habitación estaba limpia y contaba con lo necesario para tener una buena estancia.

Las camas eran bastante duras y estaban envueltas en una especie de plástico que las hacía sonar muchísimo. El entorno está bastante ruinoso, pero todo egipto es así y es algo ajeno al alojamiento.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Assouan chez Bakri et sa famille. L’accueil a été exceptionnel : chaleureux, attentionné et sincère. Bakri a été d’une grande disponibilité tout au long de notre séjour. Nous lui avons demandé s’il pouvait nous aider à organiser une promenade en felouque, et c’est lui-même qui nous a embarqués pour une magnifique balade d’une heure sur le Nil. Un moment magique, paisible et inoubliable. Le petit-déjeuner était très copieux et délicieux, un vrai plaisir chaque matin. La chambre était propre et confortable. Après trois jours passés au Caire, nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme de l’île. L’environnement est reposant, authentique et vraiment agréable. C’était l’endroit parfait pour se ressourcer. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter !

Truly top notch service from a family that appreciates their guests. We realized after our flight was delayed three times by almost 3 hours that we would have to navigate from the Aswan airport to a ferry dock, across to the island and walk to the hotel late at night. We messaged the hotel to see if they had some suggestions to help us out. To my surprise, they sent us a Google link with a dock meeting point and picked us up on their private boat for a transfer. This was at 11:30PM! We felt so bad due to the late arrival but the hospitality was incredible and we were SO grateful. The accommodations were new and super clean with comfortable beds and linens. The shower had hot water and great pressure. The bathroom is a wet bath with a shower between the sink and toilet (just fyi). There was a shared refrigerator outside our door in a common entry area. A huge, delicious breakfast was served each morning on their rooftop with a view of the Nile river. The hosts offered tours and I honestly wish we had booked a botanical garden island trip and a Nubian village trip with them instead of Viator. I suggest asking what they charge for boat transfers to these site if they are on your list. Both are easily navigated and possibly more enjoyable without a guide. Elephantine island is rustic. No cars, sand/dirt trails between buildings, weaving through a mix of local residential and small businesses/restaurants. It’s not a touristy location but there are nearby amenities like restaurants, tea/coffee shops, etc. We consider this a HUGE plus as we like to avoid other tourists and experience local culture. We got lost walking around a few times. We had local kids navigate us through the trails and were happy to give them a few pounds for their guidance. We loved the adventure. The walk to the local ferry to the mainland is approx 5-7 minutes once you learn the way and the ferry ran back and forth every 10 minutes or so.
