A clean, quiet and comfortable stay with good parking, but let down by a freezing cold arrival and missing basic toiletr

The property had good parking, was quiet and the bed was comfortable. It was very clean and well maintained.

Unfortunately when we arrived the property was freezing cold! We did put the heaters on which warmed it up relatively quickly, but it wasn’t a nice welcome. There also was no body wash, shampoo or conditioner supplied.

Ideal for an overnight stay, very clean and with all you need. The room was quiet, dark and cosy. Plenty of space to park

The only issue I had was finding it, as it is tucked away behind another house, and the sign is very small and hard to see in the dark. The Satnav takes you up a little road, and it is hard to turn around. The property is actually just off the main road

Immaculate accommodation & great value

We booked to stay here to break up a long journey home from the highlands. It was absolutely immaculate, all the facilities to make our evening meal and the host had left tea/coffee/milk for the morning, the bed was really comfortable and overall just so surprised how wonderful it was for such a low cost too.

After arriving in a storm Laura was most helpful and friendly helping me check in everything was as expected in the Booking.com had a great night sleep would definitely recommend this for future trips to Carlisle

Beautiful immaculate property in a great location

It was a beautiful property, absolutely spotless, I booked last minute and they were able to accommodate me, had all the basics I needed, and for an execellent price. Also super handy being just 2 mins from the motorway.

Perfect for a stopover

We stayed here as a stopover on a long journey. It was super easy to find from the motorway and to get back on to the motorway. A beautiful and quiet location within walking distance of two villages with pubs for a meal. Comfortable, convenient, clean and quiet. We hope to stay here again sometime.

A very restful, carefree stay.

The accommodation is a hidden gem. The apartment was clean, well set out and permitted a great night’s sleep. Parking was just outside and secure. A short drive to shops made this an ideal stay.

Exceptional value for money.

Excellent location close to m6 but very rural and peaceful. Exceptional standard of cleanliness, decor, comfort and facilities: fridge, microwave, toaster, crockery etc. Safe, off road parking next to unit and free WiFi.

clean, large enough for a kitchen and an outdoor space

Out of the way. Booked it for the kitchen facility however there was only a kettle, microwave and air fryer. Made you feel like the most important thing to the host was keeping the property clean rather than providing a good experience.

Really quiet location. Lovely little apartment with everything we needed in close reach of Carlisle about 10/15 mins. Will definitely be coming to stay again if in the area.
