The views were glorious, even on a very wet and windy weekend. The sitting room is pretty and comfortable.
Would really love a super king size bed in one of the rooms (or two three foot beds that could be zipped together to provide flexibility).

The location was great, lovely views, the house was really nice
Wasn't a lot of cupboard space for food in kitchen, very small fridge. There were various places in the house that looked like they hadn't been cleaned for some time, like dust behind the head boards. And cobwebs under tables ect.

Fantastic location, great host and a very comfortable property. The property is almost on Hadrian's Wall and makes an excellent base to explore the wall or a stop on the way if you're walking the entire length.
A sign on the property would have reduced my confusion on arrival but that is really nit-picking.
