Very enjoyable, when working away all you need is a comfy bed and a good shower it has both

Our group of 9 (6 adults 3 children) had a lovely stay, beds were comfortable, rooms where clean, gardens are beautiful.
We loved how big and spacious the property is, the gardens surrounding are well kept and picturesque. Very close to amenities (5 mins drive) but far enough out. Loved how there was liquid handsoap at every sink and air freshener in every toilet.
The bridge which leads onto the drive is very small and very tight getting on and off which I feel you should be made aware of before booking, especially if you have a big car. Would have been nice to provide complimentary tea, coffee

Very happy wee stay in Hartley.
Lovely clean house with good heating and fire, well equipped kitchen. Great garden with walk from the door step, in a very beautiful village.
All very nice. As stated on the information the wee bridge is very small and if you have a large car I wouldn't attempt to cross,

The property was well equipped, clean and spacious enough for 10 people. A lovely setting. The kitchen area was really nice and well equipped and the bedrooms comfy with quirky features like undulating floorboards due to the date of the property. Plenty of bathrooms for the amount of people. Having a utility room and coat hanging area was a plus for outdoor shoes and coats. It’s a shame due to the weather and short stay that we did not explore the area as well as we wanted. Lovely garden and great scenery around.
The downstairs bathroom at the bottom of the stairs had the toilet cistern running all the time and had to make sure the door was closed at all times so you didn’t hear it. I’m sure the caretaker could resolve. Labelling the recycle bins may have also helped as from experience of travelling the Uk, Recycling and bin etiquette is different all over the country. Be careful with the bridge over the beck. SUV cars it’s a little tight but still a cute feature.

A large, comfortable house - allowing seven of us a fun-filled, convivial weekend.

No WiFi Extremely narrow bridge, making car access difficult. One car parked on road.
