The chalet was spotless and Nicola and staff exceptional the beds were clean and extremely comfortable the outlay was spacious and had everything supplied you could possibly want , it is very quiet and peaceful surrounded by countryside with beautiful views over the valley , Leyburn 6 miles away with lovely bakery cafes and very nice restaurants with plenty of parking in the square beautiful walks around the site and dog walking paddock for our dogs and childrens play area ...a real little gem at a very low price ...highly recommend if wanting to visit the area .

Absolutely nothing

Really comfortable little cabin in stunning location in the Yorkshire Dales. Tucked away down country lanes. Easy local walk to Castle Bolton. Comfortable facilities with well equipped kitchen, and good lounge area. We loved the ping pong table and play area near the chalets, lots of space for kids to play. I enjoyed the peace and quiet and being able to take in the beautiful views from the walk down to the prayer barn. I didn’t realise it was a Christian retreat centre when I booked this but thought the prayers etc were thoughtfully placed for people to see and take in/read if they wished. Really helpful staff when we saw anyone and seamless check in etc.

Better WiFi would have been nice but realise some people want to come to get away from it all so this may not be an issue. I didn’t realise there wasn’t a double bed in our cabin but should probably have read this info properly. Beds were comfortable and I was happy to sleep in a bunkbed!
