Very good.

Location is excellent. Close to Ullswater and perfect for exploring the Lake District. Property is located on a working farm, but is very quiet. Hosts were very helpful and helped out when necessary.

Husband likes a coffee in the morning, but there were no coffee making facilities that we could find.

Very comfortable and large: three bedrooms, two baths, large kitchen with all accessories. Separate dining and living room. Washer and dryer. Very friendly and supportive owner. On-site parking. Excellent and quiet location, perfect for visiting the Lake District, Pennines, Yorkshire Dales, and Hadrian's Wall. Excellent value for money. And a beautiful horse named DJ!

The house was very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed having the view of the beautiful horse from the garden. The children loved to great the horse every day. The owners were near by and on hand for any questions or queries.

Pleasant country farm cottage

Quiet country location. Spacious accommodation. Washing machine & drier came in handy. Loved the windows. Comfy beds. Very pleasant place to stay.

Very creaky floorboards upstairs. All the flies. Restaurant/pubs/shops all a drive away. Upstairs bathroom lock a bit temperamental when opening.

Perfect family holiday experience

Excellent location and the perfect family home. It was so useful to have the stairgates available, to help keep our little ones safe. Fantastic property, spacious, clean, great to have a dishwasher and tumble dryer! Would definitely stay here again and the host was fantastic.

Pleasant

Lovely setting, view was nice. Lots of space. Very clean, lots of facilities.

Beds weren’t that comfy, particularly in the smaller double room it was very uncomfortable, creaked every time you moved, very lumpy. Needs either mattress topper or replacing of the mattress. Pillows were not the best- very thin.

Perfect getaway with the warm cottage and lovely views.

The place was really well kept and it was super clean and neat. We really enjoyed the privacy we got, but it was handy to have the host available when needed. The place was really well kept, and it felt a bit like going to my grandparent's place for a holiday. Having a horse come up for hugs and kisses is always a bonus.

The location of the place was a bit out of the way, but this is nothing to do with wanting to book again or visit this place. It didn't help to have only one bathroom between 5 people, but now we are just being picky.
