Woodhead Farm Cottage

Lots of room, owners very helpful with bike and paddle board storage. Great location near M6 and Penrith Lovely lounge and kitchen. Liked looking at the horse

Low water pressure meant showers sometimes didn't work properly, but I think there were some water works going on. Beds in twin room were a bit uncomfortable

The easy access off the M6 motorway and it location was central to Penrith and Ulleswater Lake. The Owners of the Holiday Barn were very helpful and friendly making us very welcome! The Barn was very nice and a good size in side, It was very clean and tidy. DJ The horse always greeted you in a morning , which was lovely ! The Farm was a very relaxing and peaceful place to be.

Nothing to dislike !

The house is really lovely. It’s home from home. Friendly hosts. All you need is your food. The house has everything else. TJ the horse is so friendly. The kids loved him.

Lovely setting, view was nice. Lots of space. Very clean, lots of facilities.

Beds weren’t that comfy, particularly in the smaller double room it was very uncomfortable, creaked every time you moved, very lumpy. Needs either mattress topper or replacing of the mattress. Pillows were not the best- very thin.
