The spacious stylish living space features a spacious living area with comfy sofas, modern kitchen area with island and breakfast bar along with a kitchen a cosy dining area. The patio doors lead to your own decking area ideal for enjoying the sunshine on warmer days. Pets allowed in selected accommodation only.

From M6 Junction 40, take the A66 west for approximately 1.9 miles.1. Turn right, signposted Newbiggin.2. At the junction with the B5288 at Clickham Inn, turn left, signposted Greystoke.3. In the centre of Greystoke, turn right at the Monument.4. Just after leaving Greystoke, turn left, signposted Johnby (1.25 miles).5. Continue through Johnby to the crossroads, approximately 2.7 miles beyond Johnby.6. Turn left, signposted Newsham (0.5 mile).7. Great place for a relaxing break

Lodge was brilliant, superb equipped kitchen you got wine fridge, cookers, dishwasher ,laundry machine just big wow. Living area and dining area was really spacious and really cozy. Main bedroom has own bathroom with shower so you have quick access during a night without waking up whole longe. Two smaller bedroom equipped with two single beds ( in each bedroom) an extra bathroom with bath and shower. Noise cancelling walls can’t hear a thing. Every room equipped with tv. My rate 12 out of 10. You won’t regret it!!

We had a lovely time with our 2 older daughters and the dog. There was a storm on the Saturday and we woke to snow but the lodge was nice and warm. There was everything you need and a small shop on site if you forgot to bring anything. There was an issue with the fridge making a loud noise when we got there but we rang the out of hours number and he came straight out and sorted it for us. The only thing we would have found helpful was an electric car charger point somewhere on site as the nearest were at Reghed services.

The only small issue we found was a few bulbs which needed replacing (which was done by the staff the day we raised the issue) and some of the laminated finish on a couple of the drawers was starting to peel. Oh and the “sharp†knives could do with re-sharpening. Other than that it had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay.
