Even with small hickups an amazing stay

Absolutely incredible. Loved it. Can definitely recommend.

There was a bit of a hickup, as the original property had a water damage, but they immediately switched us over to another house, almost the same. Had to wait for key to be delivered but all happened very quick and host very helpful and apologetic. These things can happen, but it was the genuine want to help and solve the problem that made the difference.

Good location and a good sized property; good value, but it needs better cleaning and a few repairs

Space and layout was good. TV and Wi-Fi worked and were easy to use. Beds were comfortable and clean. Sofas were comfortable and of a good size (2 x 2 people). Bathroom was spacious. Property is well located for getting into the city = an easy 20 minute walk. Parking is resident only, presumably with passes, but no-one challenged us when parking out side the house in the street.

Bathroom couldn't be locked: several doors didn't have handles; banister rail was greasy, and the place was generally dusty; no baking trays for the oven, and cutlery and crockery were limited; towels were very small - not really suitable for a shower

Visiting friends for a couple of days and was able to do it in the comfort of a lovely house

Location was perfect for our stay, house had everything we needed

Only issue was mattresses but that's purely a personal preference. Completely acceptable for a short stay

Ideal for what we wanted.

Beds were very comfy and the rooms were nice and big. Kitchen was well equipped and the location and price was great.

The parking situation wasn't ideal. There is on road parking but it is all permit holders which we didn't have. I had to park a couple of streets away to make sure I didn't get a ticket. Overall though this was a very minor issue on an otherwise great stay.

Great base for visiting Carlisle

Very clean (few spiders around 🕷), extremely comfy beds, and rooms were a good sized, no street noise, on street parking available, full kitchen inc washing machine, cooker, full fridge and microwave, WiFi available (handy for the kids) not far at all from town (5-10 min drive), shop near by. Came down to visit family and it was like a home from home loads of space and even some games provided 😁 would definitely stay here again.

Our only issue was the spiders but that can't be helped.

Grandiose name for a Terrace house in a less than salubrious area of Carlisle. Food left in microwave. Minimal kitchen accoutrements. Be warned make sure to lock the back door when going to bed someone attempted to get in on our first night.

It’s easy to locate and communication with the owners was easy. All information on what we needed to access the building

The property was as described and everything that we needed such as towels were provided. The sheets and toilet were clean too.

I would have liked it better if the curtains were blackout or it had blinds. We stayed in July with 3 kids and it was difficult to get them to sleep or keep them asleep till 7am as it was very bright in the rooms at night.

Cheaper than a hotel.

Location good for our needs. Plenty of room for two couples with everything that we needed. Any issues were sorted with ease by the attentive staff.

Early information about the best place to park would have been good. Perhaps an information book of some kind may help.

Excellent stay!!!

Quentin House is a beautiful little home, very comfortable, warm and welcoming place to stay. Will definitely be booking again!! We had an amazing stay, feels very homely and was spotless upon our arrival.

Lack of cutlery, ie: only 5 dinner plates when says it caters 7 people Shower needs replaced due to a few issues with it, ie: water changing temperature, water stopping and starting and the shower head droops when in use. Other than that, FAULTLESS!

great stay, close to work at the hospital. Easy check-in and host provided great details before arrival which made everything easier for us. Place had everything we needed and was a great stay. Would recommend.

Relaxing

The bed was really comfy. Rooms were immaculate. Quiet area no noisy neighbours.

Location was further out than we anticipated. Parking was a challenge if we came back in the evening. As we were in the front bedroom upstairs. That looked on to the street might have been better with screens or blinds.

Seating for only 2 people in the living area so not enough comfortable seats for everyone.

Superb

Rooms are a good size and house was clean, communication with the property was good and key safe check-in/out was easy and convenient. Roadside Parking outside house - no problems with getting 2 cars parked along road. Great value for money for a group of friends or a family!!

Despite being able to sleep up to 7 people, the living room only has a 2 seater sofa as the dining table (which we didn't really use) takes up most of space. The bathroom door also has patterned glass windows in top half which means you can see straight into bathroom when coming up stairs.
