The house was very homely and relaxing wth a lovely back garden. It was in a quiet location but close enough to the centre of town centre.

It would've been good to have garden seating if the weather was warm enough to sit out in the lovely garden.

Pleasant

The place itself was lovely and wasn't too far from the town centre. Good size garden and had nearly everything we needed. The towels were soft.

When I messaged the host they came across rudely, I explained that on the booking it showed two singles and one double and there was only one single and one double and a sofa bed, the host wasn't very understanding and rude. I did prove this to them and they didn't respond back.

Excellent location, the house was nice.

A wee bit small for a family. The kitchen could do with some more stuff. There was only 3 mugs and there was nothing for cooking in the oven other than the grill pan.

Very clean and comfortable. Quiet location with good local amenities.

Just slightly disappointed that there was no tea, coffee or sugar as promised in the welcome leaflet. Also only supplied towels for 2 guests when there were 3 staying. However this wouldn’t stop us from booking again.

Very good

We chose Adrian House due to its proximity to family we were visiting. It is a small but comfortable property located within walking distance of the city centre. Communication was excellent and property details informative and clear. Whilst it may not be the most attractive property available in the area it is an excellent cost effective base to explore the historic city of Carlisle, the Scottish borders , the lakes and beyond.

Good location for easy travel to Carlisle and surrounding area.

The location was good for travel to Carlisle city centre. Bedroom had comfortable bed and lounge had comfortable seating. The host was super quick at providing a new hair dryer as the one at the property was missing.

Opening windows only opened a small amount restricting the air flow which was not good in warm weather. Restricted parking on nearby streets meant that it could be difficult sometimes to get a space on the street where the property was situated. This street did not have restricted parking and non residents of the street were parking there.

sparkling clean and cosy. Great shower. 15 min walk to cathedral and castle. Easy parking and quiet neighbourhood.

Some miscommunication at start - quickly solved. Lovely garden - some garden chairs would have been perfect.

Was just what we needed for what we were doing in Carlisle.

Self catering facilities very good. Good wifi connections. Our grand daughter felt immediately at home. We had originally booked into Adrian House, but got moved to Terrence House due to maintenance work at the original booking and this is the property this review actually refers to. We came to Carlisle for The Wall endurance running event and the flexibility to come and go at odd times and always find an easy parking place were a godsend.

Exceptional

The whole apartment is very clean and comfort. Shower is excellent with strong and hot water. Kitchen is well equipped and also have a washing machine.

The living room with sofa bed open, is a little bit small. But the bedroom is large enough and with this price, it's still not an issue.

wonderful time at Adrian house! Will definitely return. We met the girl who cleans the property and she was very pleasan

The house was very clean and provided all our needs. very quiet area with only a 5 minute walk to the bus stop that goes right into Carlisle, we would definitely return.

The garden was really pleasant but would be nice if there where a table and chairs to sit on.

Good location for Hadrian’s Wall.

It was a good location to start the Hadrian’s Wall walk. Easy access to Bowness and close to a pick up in Bitts Park. Comfortable beds, good shower and fluffy towels. Kitchen was well equipped. Easy parking. Nearby was a good take away Thai restaurant- excellent Massaman!

The toilet seat was partially broken and I left a message for the agents, so hopefully will be fixed!
